Wix has taken down @SmashJT's website for Kotaku Identified, a blog which tracked games journalists who moved on from Kotaku including to video game development. They've mass-reported his blog for privacy invasions, so Wix stole his domain and the archive of his entire blog.
Remember when this infiltration and collusion was just a silly little conspiracy from neckbeards on the internet? They say you take the most flak when you're over your target.

Games Journalist have not learned a single lesson from Gamer Gate or anything from the past 10 or so years. They don't even understand the Streisand effect

Kotaku is one of the publications that ask for a strange amount of experience (5-7 years, iirc) despite having the reputation that they do, with a recruiting process including a beefed up portfolio and a cover letter that has you twerking on their meat to make sure you are "one of them."
Presumably the implication is they have a very different reputation within the publication industry than in the gaming industry?

Kotaku clearly has a history of hiring writers who seem to think they're doing a completely different job.

How is documentation harassment? Are journalists that stupid that they think their actions have no consequences and words have no meaning? I don't get it

Wix is the company that bought out Deviantart and surprise surprise, the company is based in Tel Aviv. And as such...

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Applies here big-time.
The hell. No idea how I missed that.

On February 23, 2017, the company announced it was being acquired by Israeli web company Wix.com in a $36 million deal.[6]
Quoth wikipedo. Absolutely kiked.

I’m honestly surprised there have been so many discord grooming events and not as much on the jewish deviant art. I guess the userbase just aged out so faggots and trannies have to prey on the “raised by the television” zoomers on discord.

Good riddance to those Kotaku clickbait bullies and misogynists like Levi Winslow. Now if only they fire Alyssa Mercante next.

Nothing of value is lost from this soyboy being fired and not having a position as a game journalist. Not one negative has come about from the Kotaku layoffs.

The fact that this all happened because the lead faggot in charge of Second Wind led a harassment campaign to mass flag this dude's WiX account down proves that the Escapist did absolutely nothing wrong when it fired every single one of these useless cunts. Second Wind only exists to make sure that there's no power gap left behind from the Escapist's death.

Second Wind's only function is to make sure that the same journo faggots still have a network that they can use to reach out and give marching orders to other journos so they know what target to seek out and destroy. The same applies for other co-op spiritual successor journo spinoff sites like Aftermath.site, which is another Kotaku alumni rag.

In copywriting/journalism, it is unfortunately thought that the bigger the publication, the better. Hence why insane publications like the Epoch Times still get people vying for work despite, well, being the Epoch Times. It doesn't help that these publications are up their own ass about their reach and size and constantly shilling it. Oftentimes, these listings get hundreds of applications from desperate schmucks just trying to make a living without any understanding of the industry they're applying for. So, yeah, they get people with journalism experience, and from what I'm seeing on LinkedIn through those linked to Kotaku, from their sibling publications, and just shoehorn them in. Kotaku is already a horrible publication and doesn't cover gaming very well, but mix that with desperate people who fundamentally don't understand gaming or their audience and you get the average gaming publication :drink:

EDIT: top search results for Kotaku right now on Google

The same way not wanting your daughters to share private spaces with mentally ill men is a "phobia" or not pretending all niggers are young doctors/lawyers/engineers when they commit horrific crimes is "rayciss."

Sucks, but it's not impossible to recover from this. Just make a local WordPress install. Migrate the articles from the way back machine. Learn how to make a WordPress backup. Backup the local install. Migrate to another host. Do this over and over again until you find a host that doesn't suck dick.

Of course they fucking haven't. As far as they're concerned it was orchestrated by Russia and was a preamble to the election of Donald Trump. Anytime any press outlet actually tried to clean up their act, they were called out for giving into terrorists. See the situation with PC gamer if you don't believe me. They literally got caught having a female journalist write about her own husband's company (or game I can't remember exactly). After some pushback, they actually acknowledged how fucked that was and promised to tighten up their policies internally. From the reaction in the comments, you would think they gave plans and equipment to manufacture a nuclear bomb to Al-Qaeda.

One other thing I will mention, the one slight cope we had from then is that thanks to YouTube, most of gaming media were dying off either way. Turns out, watching someone actually play a game is actually a better measuring stick than some arbitrary score. Second wind is primarily a YouTube based with Patreon memberships and they really don't have advertisers. The only real thing you can do to hurt them is encouraging people to cancel their patreon sub.

It's really hard to overstate how few people know how to competently self-host. The fact that all major hosting platforms are incredibly pozzed significantly harms freedom of information and the average person's ability to publish.
WDYM I just open port 80 and 443 and start apache tomcat. it really is that easy :)

Unfortunately for the urinalist he can't do shit against ghost archive, hard copies, doxbin, farms or archive.today mirrors.

Streisand effect is a bitch, say is archiving an archive too much? In case the guy screams at way back machine and google to prevent cached views.

Chatgpt is the solution to these "people". If anything, we should be trying to make AI as woke as possible as quickly is possible, so it can take all their jobs and they and the things they call their families can starve. Would anyone really care if chatgpt was writing "articles" about how it is evil to have tits in vidya gaymes or whatever? I wouldn't. It could just be completely ignored by actual humans. I'd be satisfied to know that all leftoids who actually agreed with it were starving, because we had finally automated being a stupid, narcissistic piece of shit.
