lol good luck getting any response from Palantir PR, everyone working for that disgusting company is insane. C.f. their Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy, Mehdi Alhassani, of 13920 Mir Mirou Drive, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022, who is Eliano Younes's boss and directs his bribes towards government employees. What kind of freak talks about his wife this way?

James Corbett, Whitney Webb, The Last American Vagabond and tons of others have been covering Palantir (and Oracle) for years. Steve joins the list of micro-celebrities who've tried to warn people about the surveillance state ... and then nothing happens. Hopefully Steve won't go the route of Corbett who had his channel banned for 4 years.

Palantir should be wiped off the planet, with all their executives (homosexual or otherwise, all are faggots) their funders, their customers, and their simps in it.
This might be an unpopular take:
I really hope Steve dials his snarkness down a few notches. Some of his videos on AI are approaching Thunderf00t territory of Reddit. He's right, Thundercuck is also right about Musk but cmon, this video was way too long.
The real stuff starts at 13:50. Everything before it was padding. Anyone watching this video already hates Palantir.

Some of it is pretty over the top. I think anyone that actually understands what LLMs are and how they function as I'm sure Steve does would know that what they're made for, which is sifting through large amounts of data, they're very good at and have use cases. Should they be your therapist/your friend/govern your life choices and is it annoying that companies want to shove it into everything? Yes, but in that specific instance of parsing large datasets, LLMs are useful. I do think how AI companies are trying to hoover up every last bit of silicon they can find and the financial and economic impacts data centers have on the areas they're plopped onto, as well as the strain they put on the electrical grid is a genuine concern though.

The practical inability to process immense datasets with just humans was the main thing stopping the powers that be from being able to actively monitor every citizen at all times. Unlike past regimes, you can no longer stay under the radar by just being uninteresting. AI will empower states to create highly personalized open air prisons for everyone.

Palantir is very open about their mission to make this happen, so no amount of hyperbole from steve is excessive. The people who work there really are just pure evil.

LLMs are actually pretty bad at sifting through large amounts of data, because they can't remember all the data at the same time. That's part of why they're so memory hungry, context costs ram. Sifting through data is much easier to do with more traditional tools. One of the big things that have improved their usefulness is attaching a RAG, which is basically just a traditional database that's easy for a LLM to consult.

LLMs are really good at all the stuff you would expect a midwit to be good at if they had all the time in the world to ponder and research before they answer. Coding anything small is easy, even if it's complex, but using one to build a large project from scratch gets really rough as the project grows because it'll lose track of the structure of the program and start writing new code that does the same thing as existing code because it's forgotten about the code that already exists. Or if you're trying to do an integration with more than two parts it'll start getting confused about which part works in what way. In general, they're really good at things computers normally kinda suck at, and they're really bad at all the stuff computers are really good at.

The huge defense contractor, you want to poke that bear? Good luck with that.

You have the morality of a child, i wish I was so brain wiped.

the funny part of your post is that i remembered the fish drawing thing where the nigger vibecoded and had a massive security issue because he didn't use different passwords.
also rip niggerfish.

Why are you so pathetic, joyless, and why gobble Palantir penis?
It's all so simple in your faggot mind, isn't it?

You are the most joyless fuck i've ever seen in my goddamn life. Endless seething anger in every post you make. And as far as pathetic, I wouldnt' really go there as large as your post count is bud.

zero mentions of the chink factories trying to settle up on the field forgotten by ngreedia and amd?
https://youtube.com/watch?v=YwrUxG26ulk
CHINA NUMBA WAN, this is even funnier once you remember steve speaks chinkenese.
"The factory is in Taiwan so you should use Taiwan In Formosa o algo"

If you're going to sweep it up for free, explain yourself. Why is Palantir necessary?

I'm not sure if Steve is fucking with those big companies because he cares for consumers, or hates them for his own reasons and the consumer thing is just a scapegoat for his crusade, but I'm 100% sure that if Palantir, Nvidia, or Blackrock wanted to take down GN, they would, and the average consumer would do nothing about it, and after some time would move on.

There may have been some internet screeching into the void, but after that, eternal silence and back to the mines for our Steve.

There is a third possibility: Playing to the audience of people going REEEEEEEE FUCKING AI BUBBLE NEED TO COLLAPSE NOW NOW NOW in the comments of every tech channel these days. Which is regardless of all other merits a shrewd move if that's the play.

To be fair, I don't consider him a grifter like Linus. It feels like what he does is more genuine, though I suppose there's also a possibility that I might be a poor judge of character.
