More than that. You have mad neckbeards that think SJW feminist will destroy videogames by being offended over some stupid shit, nevermind that no one else would give a shit over pixels and polygons like the mra neckbeards and SJW feminist. To sum up GamerGate, you had some group of journalist say gamers are dead after some gamers wanted better ethics and along the way, better ethics gets sidetracked by MRA's who think that nothing could go wrong in posting their autistic hate of feminist.

It can further reinforce a neutral or apathetic standing of not taking any sides in this. The neckbeards reinforce the image of Pro-GamerGate being MRA's while the other side reinforces the tism they have that is getting offended over certain expensive electronic toys.

Seriously look at the SJW games that were roundly mocked and commercially failed. You have shit like Depression Quest and that Sunset game from those Tale of Tales tards who spazzed out and went allahu akbar on all gamers after their failed games failed.
