If any did care about actual issues, they'd know it would be more important but then again, they and the anti's think this whole circlejerk fight of vidya is life and death or something like that.
 
That's why gamer gate didn't stand a chance in the mainstream media and was such an easy target for con artists. There are so many worthy causes in the world, with corruption in every corner of society causing pain, death, hunger, and illness, yet these spergs only get pissed off when someone fucks with their toys.

The real press is unreliable, so what the fuck do you think hobby journalists are going to be like? These GGers remind me of kids throwing a fit in the toy aisle because they didn't get exactly what they wanted. Real Important Stuff.

Seriously though: the first person to figure out how to logically mesh this "meritocracy" nonsense with the notion of "I've heard some rumours that there's still people out there who are playing video games for fun" gets a cookie. Mind you, it's a bit past sell-by date.
 
More people are getting more enjoyment out of video games today than at any other point in history. A bunch of speds with imported super famicoms aren't above anyone else who plays games. If you want to see an industry powered entirely by tism then just look at all that otaku anime shit in Japan, it doesn't exactly make for a better product.

I didn't know anything about who the hell Sargon of Akkad was until recently. He didn't seem too bad, but if he's so caught up in this Gamergate shit and making dumb statements like this, I really don't know what to think of him as a whole, but I do know that he's another neckbeard whining about vidya games to this extent. And that video got a ton of likes too.
