One thing to note: aside from child molestation, there's also drugs and loaded guns to add to that charge but in the grand scheme of this thread, that shit isn't going to matter compared to kiddy diddling. Pros on the GG side will either deny or throw piss soaked sponges while anti-GG tries to do a dance despite having their own sex pest.

Even in California, I don't think it's illegal to have a loaded gun in your own home. Note there's no charge for that on the table screenshotted above.

Aaaanyway, on a much lighter note…

Falko von Falkner, aka Top Hats and Champagne, is a pro-GG YouTuber/streamer who, as far as I know, has managed to avoid any major controversies or flame-outs. Along the lines of every other ComicsGater crowdfunding their own comic book, he has started a KickStarter campaign for his own game which has already met its (admittedly ridiculously low) goal of about $10,000 US. The game's called Born Punk and it's a point-and-click adventure game (like LucasArts' Monkey Island and Full Throttle) with a cyberpunk aesthetic. Aside from the gameplay video on the campaign, a playable demo is also available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. I haven't played it yet, but going by the pictures and video, he really seems to have nailed that '90s LucasArts aesthetic. And the delivery date is realistic - January 2020. Have a look if it sounds like something up your alley. Hopefully he has better luck at this than Sargon.

I assume a whole bunch of loudmouths will parade this as proof gamergate is all rapists ignoring the fact their own camp had sufficient amount of people outed as sex creeps, including many games journalists and celebrities, and that's not going into insignificant nobodies like Nafedude or absolutely exceptional monsters like Sarah Butts. Gamergate or what remains of it is too sexless virgin heavy to ever match their score.

It's already happening. The people who defended Nyberg are going all What About Mercedes, despite literally nobody coming to the stupid cow's defense.
 
Short Fat Otaku does a pretty good video recapping who Mercedes was in GG and how she's apparently fallen on hard times recently, even without this accusation. He seems to be presuming her guilt, though. I still want to see more. (Also, law nerds, according to the news clip he's played, the two have already entered a "not guilty" plea. Wouldn't it be way too early in the process to be entering pleas already?)

If you look at the facts of the case that were released so far, it really doesn't look good at all.

They were both charged with 8 counts of sexual abuse to a minor, among other charges. And they were both denied bail. All this give me a feeling that this will be a very swift case.

Agreed. Looking at the thing law enforcement charged here, they don’t make such accusations lightly. This isn’t one of those internet pedo stings. That bail was denied makes me wonder if these morons didn’t film and or distribute it?

Over on KiA there seem to be one or two suspicious never heard from before types trying to drum up championing Mercedes, they seem to be getting curb stomped by the locals. Pretty obviously ghazi attempting their classic “bait and screenshot” drive by’s. It’s like they are never capable of having a new idea?

It wouldn't be surprising. After all, gotta try and own whatever spergs are left in the pro-camp despite the anti-camp having their sex pest. The anti's could be taken more seriously if they actually acknowledged their own sexpest but even then, some will probably think that's just giving some sort of ammo to their enemies.
