r/KotakuInAction got riled up about Yohjo Simulator, a poor quality joke simulator game getting removed from Steam. There are some shitty simulator games that got removed before like Air Control and Fish Gen Sim but this one got attention due to a Japanese 3rd grader.

Any bets that if the game is back on Steam it will sell more copies ala Hatred?

My thoughts on Hatred was that, well, while it was way way wayyyy not my cup of tea, it at least looked like a video game.

Yohjo Simulator, on the other hand, makes Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing look like a solid piece of software engineering. If Yohjo Simulator somehow outsells, well, anything really, then there officially is no God.
 
I feel like I might catch some flack for saying this, but the world doesn't/didn't need Yohjo Simulator. "______ Simulator" games have long since worn out their welcome and the fad itself is just a joke.

On some level, no matter how deeply locked and hidden away it is inside, the "developers" of these "games" know that what they're making is just a joke for shits and giggles. They aren't out to make a competent production and their product serves no other purpose than to turn heads and get cheap laughs, they're the gaming equivalent of a Buzzfeed article. Regardless of things like Steam Greenlight, Steam is not a place for predominately gimmick content. Anyone with some nonsense title listed on Steam should know full well that they are a visitor in the marketplace, not a permanent resident.

The world doesn't need any of these bullshit games, and didn't even need the Exceptional Individual Simulator or whatever the fuck started this stupid meme game trend.

Anyone who wants to make another of these fucking pieces of shit should make a Die in a Fire Simulator. Or better yet, actually go DIAF.

I think Surgeon Simulator started it, a game that was made in 24 hours and arguably had actual gameplay and challenge involved, and then everyone missed the entire point of why it was great.

Not sure what this has to do with GG mind you.

Only if the game was taken down by SJW's. Even then, it's a joke simulator like that of Goat Simulator. One would ask what sort of value would it have aside from appealing to some person who unironically likes these joke sims or has some fetish for underage anime girls?

One may as well assume that once Yohjo Simulator was taken away, some people within GG got riled. In all honesty, as much as how one can say the game should get a chance, it may as well of already gotten a chance. It just looks like nothing more than another dime a dozen joke simulator that as @Super Collie said has worn out the welcome.
