I honestly think some of these people have mental issues.

Let's set up the scene here; mommy and daddy shower you with whatever you want while growing up, tell you you are amazing all day and can do whatever you want and will be successful at everything you do. You have so much optimism, so much hope for your future, and your shit certainly does not stink. That last sentence is just being young in general.

Then you hit around 20, 22. You get upset that you aren't magically making six figures, your life isn't turning into the happy ending that Disney promised, hell, you might even start to realize the world around you isn't so black and white like those movies portray. You get a fucking reality check and it sucks. What could be worse is if you married your high school romance or "Oh I've known you for three months but you are the one" and this whole having a baby thing just isn't taking care of itself.

You've got some roads to go down here. Some people wise the fuck up, realize the world isn't there for their every whim, and get to work.

But then you have these people. The ones that cling on because, well, Chris puts it best: "I was basically promised!"

To these people, everyone is a fucking cartoon villain and there is always some big evil boogie man ready to oppress them. So they just start fighting, according to their worldviews, and never stop. Did you defeat whatever you were fighting? It's all you know and you can't stop, time to make up another monster and keep fighting. They go insane.
 
Well, guess I better tell the girl I play Borderlands with that we can't play on Saturday because we have to defend her rights as a woman. No movies either, no sir! Just sit there and... do womanly things. Baking! Yes. Maybe tell her to clean her apartment. But no video games, young lady! We have to protect your rights, now listen to Mr. Guthrie! He's a manfolk and he'll lead the way!
