Too little too late, people have been warning us about moot for awhile. If you're like me you didn't pay attention. I hope he marries one of these women and she takes her puss and his 4cash off to chad thundercocks house once she is comfortable.

If you're a *channer and/or a gamer, the last few months have been staring into fucking Bizarro World. EA came out in defense of Gamergate, saying to let the investigations and discussions happen. IGN turned out to be the least openly biased games journalism agency of all the ones out there. 4chan and SA have become hives of so-called SJW sentiment, but GameFAQs is now a haven for actual discussion. The *chans have allied with Reddit, which many feel is a sign of the apocalypse. Normally left-leaning publications and blogospheres, their leadership turning out to be heavily infiltrated with so-called SJWs, are locked down into screaming lunacy at anyone not walking in lockstep, whilst a site as controversial as Breitbart is the only one willing to do actual investigative journalism. It's complete insanity, and it all happened because people gave a shit about their hobby.

As of so far, most estimates place the damage done to Gawker thus far in the 25-30 million range. There's blood in the water, and as more evidence mounts, things are only going to get more interesting. I'm really interested in seeing the veracity of based Mike's documentation right there, because if that's true, Gamergate sort of has Gawker and possibly a good chunk of Anti-GG by the balls.

The gaming media demonising gamers is pretty amazing, though. It's like the NRA demonising gun owners or something. It's insane. I can't get over the level of incredible self-importance and smugness required to actively shit into the mouths of your entire audience and demand that they tell you how good it tastes.

I don't see any valid reason for returning to 4chan. He tried to pull a veil over their eyes and actively snuffed out whomever was dissenting. How is it worth returning to that kind of potential deceit? He's just another girlvinyl who was ready to turncoat his followers for lods of emone and china.

I sure hope he wasn't interrupting her openly. That's what the opposition does and is what has become a growing trend in modern media: Forget waiting your turn and common manners, just shout your filibuster for 10 minutes and no one will rail on you for it.

But that she just openly used her supposed victimhood as a shield to claim she's unaccountable for her mistakes is very telling.

It's been locked for a while now. It's off limits to the public. But if you're a higher up at Wikipedia you can go right a head.

Personally, I think they should salt the article and anything to do with gamergate. It's obvious some of the higher ups over there have an axe to grind.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but didn't Moot also get Burgers and Fries'd? Like during the revelations that he had sold out the bulk of 4chan to special interests?

If that's true, there's a certain ironic humor to the whole thing.

Keep us posted as to any new developments regarding LW3 and the Gawker Astroturfing, BTW.

Also Ryulong is a fucking great example of the cancer killing Wikipedia. The guy gets comprehensively owned in the discussion, but is still in charge so he gets to wave his dick over everyone else. This kind of idiocy's been common amongst certain "high level" people at Wikipedia for years, but Ryulong is by far the worst of a very bad lot.

I believe the LWu stuff starts around 32 minutes in. I'm waiting on a transcript but the rumbles I've been hearing have been WONDERFUL. She ignores questions, she flat out refuses to answer questions, and at the end of it all basically shakes some tinfoil by her phone and yells "Uh oh there's some interference I can't hear you kay bye!!!!"

Now some beta on twitter is trying to convince people the interview he "arranged" for her was a disaster because HE "didn't prep the journalist" beforehand with information and the dude had the gall to do his own research.

I think the interviewer asked some very good questions, like what reason LWu had to believe that the attacks were coming specifically from 8chan. The only times he interrupted her were to specify what he was asking before LWu began her next long speech. Really, every time I hear her speak, I get the feeling that she doesn't talk with people, she talks at them.

Funny how she points a finger at "the industry," switching fluidly between the video game developer industry and the video game journalism industry. Errybody is at fault.

I look forward to hearing the rest.

Edit: Who are Samantha Allen and Jen Frank? Never heard of these people before.
