Still, I would say TGWTG having a policy of "Just dont talk about it till its over" is a pretty sane policy, and one which would have been far better at keeping GamerGate from growing so fast than the current policy many have of "drown the fire in gasoline"

I learned that Wu gets her graphs from a site called Keyhole.co, and they only take a small sample - 500 or so - of the hashtag you enter. If you want a larger sample, you have to pay $50+.
I made a graph too.
So if all PC users are bots...

Seems to be what guys like Phelous are doing, to my knowlege, just pretending nothing's going on. Didn't see anything one way or the other with Spoony either (though given he's still got "gamer" as a label on twitter, we can take a guess) which really is the best decision business-wise.

That actually reminds me: a friend of me asked why so many gaming critics and the like are either silent on or turning against Gamergate, including a lot of critics normally known for being die-hard consumer activists. Having done some research, I've come to the conclusion that a lot of them have little choice. Game devs, ironically, are innocent in this, but such is not the case for PR personnel and those responsible for bookings. A lot of people who would otherwise be on Gamergate's side can't afford to take sides, or, if they do, will side with the opposition because they essentially have to in order to keep their career going.
If this sounds familiar, it's because that's what happened with Boogie.
Bear in mind that someone as non-biased as Boogie has taken an inordinate amount of so-called SJW flak for merely hinting that GG might not be great Satan. You'd better believe that a lot of so-called SJW-allied PR firms, blogrings, and more are wringing their hands trying to find ways to force more and more people to parrot their attack lines, and they've gotten a great deal of them down through threats and coersion, if not outright blackmail. Remember that thread to DailyKos I linked earlier? Even when people punched holes a mile wide in the talking points, they kept marching forward, screaming how any damage done to themselves was irrelevant so long as the objective was done.
One must also bear in mind that there's a lot of people there who either aren't informed or mis-informed. For these people, just give it time - the true colors of all involved will inevitably shine through, and then, we'll know where the true loyalties lie. I just saw it happen on DailyKos with someone who got my back and was previously anti-GG until the vitriol caused him to leave their side in disgust.

According to this journalist, people in high up positions on gaming websites colluded to blackball a writer who supported gamergate from being able to be hired. Now, this heavily involves Destructoid who are trying to claim that none of that is true because they are innocent bloggers run out of some guys kitchen and anyway that's just an industry trade forum where professionals network.
The writer who was fired resided in Florida, where this is considered "conspiring" and is legally a very bad thing.
So there you go, journalists are illegally being blackballed from their industry for speaking against the wishes of their conspiring masters.

I read both those links and I must say, they are better than game journos and they don't really let their beliefs get in the way (i.e. Gone Home reviewer says the game is pretty much like those cliched high-school romances). Is it wrong if I said these people are what these game journo's should be like in terms of reviewing a game, especially when it comes to engaging those who don't agree??
How deeper is the rabbit hole? Did they get a visit from any anti-GG?
Would she also try to prove Mrs. Pacman is submission to the Patriarchy?

This breaks my heart. She's just a misguided girl that wants to fit in, and the SJW crowd is making her think that to be a "good feminist" she needs to hurt people. It's horrifying that so many young people are being taught that this is okay. Social Justice is truly toxic. I really hope that the talk she had with the pro-GG guy helps to set her straight.
I'm guessing the anti-GGs will find them soon enough though.
