Changing the word 'gamer' is stupid. 'Gamer' is gender neutral and always has been.

EDIT: Also gaming is a hobby. I can kind of understand atheism+, because for some being atheist goes hand in hand with being feminist. But gamers are just... gamers. What's next? Pinebox derby+?

So this one time I was playing this game and I was all "I don't like this. This is not to my liking" so I stopped playing it and didn't buy any of the sequels because they were of no interest to me. There was this other time where I was playing this game and I didn't agree with the views in the game but I liked the gameplay so I was like "Well, I don't agree with what the game is trying to tell me but I sure do enjoy every other aspect of it" so I kept playing but didn't adopt the views placed in the plot.

I am a loose cannon that cannot be stopped.

Friends we have a situation developing. I have it from an excellent source that is close to Zoe Quinn that she's planning a false flag operation at PAX this weekend. Here are the details as they were given to me.

Zoe Quinn is planning to stage an attack on herself in a bathroom or stairwell away and be 'found' by a friend claiming she was assaulted by a group of white males. She won't call am ambulance but rather have a friend 'drive her to the hospital' where she will then claim to speak to police and disclose what she overheard during the attack. Zoe will name drop two very prominent youtube and Twitter personalities to the gaming scene to have the SJWs out them as the ones who planned it.

She's already doxxed herself and made up fake threats, this is the next logical step to garner fame through playing a victim at a major event. WE CANNOT LET THIS FALSE FLAG OPERATION TAKE PLACE! Zoe could ruin the whole gaming convention scene and have SJW's storming every single one from now on or worse. Eyes need go be kept on Zoe this weekend. Please, don't let this vile bitch get away with more lies that can hurt the gaming community!

I find this highly unlikely.... But from what we know, there's a shred of credibility to it.

/v/ and its innumerable allies are spreading this around and ensuring everyone's aware of it though, so either way, I'd say that preparations are made. Better to be ready for anything and not need it, after all.

It's better to be safe than sorry, because this is something that would just lead to more and more articles about how vile gamers are and stuff. And more money being given to Zoe's Patreon.

However if there was already news cycling around that she planned the whole thing out beforehand that damages her credibility more badly than it is now.
 
If true I hope this 'source' documents fucking everything. I just hope this isn't a false flag to trick people into stalking her at PAX.

The thing is, I'm pretty skeptical about her name dropping prominent YouTube and Twitter personalities related to gaming. This is the exact opposite of what she did with Wizardchan. It's not her usual strategy. Whatever names she's dropping, it sounds like they would have a lot of people ready to rush to their defense. It also seems like it would be really easy for the people she name dropped to disprove the whole thing. Either the false flag is a false flag, or Zoe is going full Azula.

The default stance when faced with any claim is skepticism. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to turn you into a sheep.

Multiplayer games don't have to be isolating. Some of my best memories from my childhood are about playing Golden Eye with my step brother, as well as other multiplayer and co-op games. Gaming has also allowed me to make friends with people on the other side of the country.

My best friend in the whole damn world lives in the ass crack of Mississippi. You have no idea how happy I feel when I've got on my headphones and mic and am playing Left4Dead with her. I still treasure our memories of playing WoW together, back when WoW was still kinda cool. It feels like she's right here with me. It's a beautiful thing.

That's all I've got to say. I only skimmed the article because I didn't want to get rage cancer.

I've made some of my best friends from online games :heart-full: I wish gaming could just be about that again.. feels like it's been forever.
