Before all this happened, when Zoe put out Depression quest some people on Wizardchan posted a thread about it.
Apparently someone on this forum linked it to Zoe and she went with it, claiming that the people on Wizardchan gave her death threats and that they were constantly harassing her. It has also been revealed that Zoe has a history of claiming she was "mugged" and asking people to donate to her. This all got people to donate to her Patreon account.
4chan has been livid over Zoe for the past week or two. Zoe also ruined this group's contest called the Fine Young Capitalists, and 4chan has been donating to them so their project can go through. Here's the details on that.
Zoe also made a copycat contest called "RebelJam" which has no end date and no judges, and has a donation page that goes straight to her personal paypal account. She has a history of manipulating even fellow SJWs into giving her money.
It's worth noting that what happened after this started to break was even
stranger, and for the sake of our newcomer, I'll fill him in.
After the initial corruption charges got flung about and it became increasingly obvious that Quinn would resort to terrifying measures to absolve herself from any criticism whatsoever, things got even more insane. Quinn doxx'd herself, and attempted to make it look like several communities were the actual culprit, just to make herself look good. She was extremely quick to, via legal action, threats, and use of her associates, do everything possible to discredit and shut down her opposition. The result was multiple hacker attacks on a charity site (The Fine Young Capitalists), multiple copyright strikes filed against prominent youtubers (such as Totalbiscuit), and open attempts to push any and all blame onto the chans and other internet communities, which went over about as well as an abortion in a Disney movie.
As if upon call, Phil Fish, an inveterate flouncer and someone who increasingly has revealed themselves to be an egomaniacal shitsack, started to take to the internet battlefield. For the uninitiated, Phil Fish is the creator of Fez, a mediocre Xbox Live Arcade title, and dedicated internet warrior who, after saying he was never going to make Fez II as a giant internet rage-quit, continued to stick around spouting such brain-genius ramblings as this:
So then imagine what happened when we started being greeted with stuff like

Inevitably, this led people to start questioning what relationship Quinn had to Phil Fish, where it was quickly discovered that not only were they close associates, but that Quinn was at Phil Fish's wedding. Curious coincidence, no?
Closer inspection revealed in short order that Quinn and Fish were quite close in terms of not only working relationship, but there was considerable evidence that indicated that Fish's limited success may or may not have been the result of similar journalistic corruption. Suffice to say, Fish wised up and fucked off as the Quinnspiracy investigation continued, claiming he was selling the brand name to Fez and his company, which, given that Fez was mediocre at best and Polytron has no staff
other than Fish, should go about as well as Our Pet Lolcow's attempts to sell CDs on Ebay a month or two ago.
Either way, it's become apparent as things progress that many of Quinn's closest supporters are neck-deep in this conspiracy themselves, and there's no telling just how much is going to get uprooted by the time this train-wreck comes to a full and complete stop. The entire incident has managed to unique communities which by all accounts could not be united, with Redditors, Tumblrfags, and your average *Channer all united in common cause against the despicable behavior of Quinn and company. This is a seminal moment in internet journalism, and one of the single most darkly fascinating things I have ever seen unfold.
I'll watch the video. I still don't understand why Wizardchan and CWCki are involved. I mean, I understand that she accused Wizardchan of harassment and Wizardchan accused us of getting into contact with her. I assume that Zoe is stirring up this shitstorm to distract from how she's a whore and a liar, but why the fuck is she accusing Wizardchan? Normal people haven't fucking heard of Wizardchan.
I can't say this for sure, but following Quinn even before this broke, I'm entirely sure she was here during some of our earlier "Is this or is this not a lolcow" threads, where Wizardchan was discussed
once. And it was there that a target that was helpless and wouldn't fight back if made the fall guy for a self-hack was spotted.
The wizards are the single most harmless Chan on the entire goddamned internet, content to be in their little corner of the tubernets and be left alone. Smart money suggests Quinn targetted them specifically because, unlike 4chan, it'd be a believable target that wouldn't be able to defend itself. And it was, for a bit, as Neogaf began ostracizing the Wizards as master trolls.
Our beloved CWCki, of course, is one of the most visible lolcow communities and all evidence was that Zoe had a sockpuppet on here for weeks. We know she's done it on imageboards, news sites, and more, so it's possible we got fingered in the hopes we'd be targetted by SJWs and other useful idiots. What Quinn likely didn't count on was that she'd be found out so quickly, or that people would fit the pieces together in short order.
