The Game Place has apparently gone out of business, and the former site of the store is now empty. It appears that the saga is now finally over for good.

Oh snap. How many red cents do you think Snyder was able to get out of it before this happened?

We knew as much when someone looked online for it and found that they had sort of moved into/merged with a train toy store. However that picture is sobering, if Chris ever sees that he's going to have so many mixed feelings, the poor thing'll shut down.

Huh. Well THAT'S interesting. Probably there were a lot of factors influencing the business going under, but I wonder if in some small part it wasnt the negative connections to CWC and all the history. Possibly when the lease expired, Michael decided not to move and he'd had enough and wanted to do something safer for a living, like diffusing bombs.

It'll be interesting to see what sort of statement Chris makes about it. Snyder has been his nemesis for so long and he's been so desperate to go back to TGP that losing even the fantasy of regaining access to it will probably prove traumatic for him, even if he loves that Snyder is out of business.

There's even the slimmest of possibilities that this could prompt a video from Chrissy. It certainly seems like a monumental enough pseudo-triimph and he probably in his own weird way thinks he's responsible.

Not that I'm complaining about this... but didn't we already know this? Wasn't this already something we had a thread on and people found out that the owner had sold it or something and now it's a craft-based hobby store that's location has been moved someplace else?

Again, not hating on the fact that we have actual proof now..but I think this was something we already knew.

RIP Game Place, you were a sanctuary for autists and Jews everywhere.
Does Christian know that it's gone? I assume not because he would have posted a long Facebook rant about it.

I made a thread about it back in January and updated it in April. It will be interesting to see how Chris will react when he finds out the Game Place is closed.

The gears of justice may grind slowly, but they're moving, they're moving! Get yourself caught in those gears, Snyder, and you'll be in a lot of pain...

Except for maybe a few weens crank calling and yelling :julay:, I don't think Chris would've dragged down the business that much. He may have scared a few customers away sure, but I imagine it would be hard enough running a brick and mortar store out in a town like Charlottesville even without the intervention of any smelly manbabies. We knew it was going to happen eventually.

As for Chris's reaction, part of me subscribes to an idea that Alec proposed a while back that he may feel cheated. As for the "curse shot worked" theory., Did Chris actually "fire" a Curse-Ye-Hame-Ha at Snyder?

With places like Walmart cutting in on smaller businesses' turf (or just pushing them out of the market through other means), this ending was rather predictable. Despite the fact that this is probably a close to perfect explanation for the closure of the Game Place, our dearest Chris will probably celebrate victory and instead credit himself with the death of the business. That is, unless he decides that he should have been allowed entry back in before its closure. You know, because it was basically promised and all.

I guarantee that when Chris addresses this in a future status, he will squeal with glee, and declare that he is responsible, because Michael Snyder is Mean To Autistics!! He won't be upset about this, in the slightest, he'll be ELATED.

I don't think Chris cares anymore, if (when?) he finds out about this, he'd probably just grunt and go back to playing with his Lego. And shitting himself of course.

So...now that the place is out of business, should we try buying it out so we can actually make a breeding ground for troll-kind? I have a few ideas for the place like getting a shark tank, a Keurig coffee machine, a conference table, maybe a few flatscreens, what do you guys think? :ween:
