Gajin Goomba's videos are annoying as hell, mainly due to changing the pitch of his voice to be squeeky. And whenever people (IMO rightfully) complain about it he just says that the voice is part of his "character's identity".
 
I love when he tried to tell Hideki Kamiya about his game only to get block that was great. Also is this the same guy who dose game Theory?
 
I see this guy get retweeted a fair bit because this huge sperg I watch (and should write up about in the personal lolcow thread one of these days) is a major fan and yeah, he's pretty spergy.. I also see his videos suggested occasionally while browsing YouTube. One was titled that he's sick and tired of people complaining about Samus. Since it featured an image of Other M Samus however I decided I really didn't want to know.

Apparently someone else tweeted Kamiya the video and got blocked, which is when Gaijin Goomba stepped in and got blocked as well.
 
Man, the rants this guy does about japanese people are totally hilarious because not only is he being absolutely 100% serious with a sqeaky voice, but he actually believes japan is close-minded because a bunch of kids he was teaching got bored of him giving an english lesson during an assembly or something and another teacher told him he was boring them and let the kids play games instead. Like they're just kids, of course they'd rather play games and have fun instead sitting through a boring ass lesson givin by some weeb.

Also about MatPat, he's just a guy who likes doing research and working things out mathematically and tries to apply it to games. Honestly most of the time he's just using things from games as a way of teaching the viewers something new. Like with the zelda episode where he described the placebo effect by comparing real world items with items in zelda. Hell he's even willing to call himself out when he inadvertently says something ridiculous like Wario being 10 feet tall.

i watch GTs stuff for fun, and it's interesting once you put math or real sciences behind it.
but it's just for fun.
sometimes the "this is obviously canon" is sketchy, sometimes it's supported with a lot of facts.. most of the time it's clickbait and i fucking hate that.

about GG:
he was interesting.. WAS. the pitch shifted voice, and the fact that he's starting to put plot into his videos makes me stop caring for him

Make a separate line of text for the YT URL, or just have the URL be "www[dot][video link]" instead of having the "http://" at the beginning if you want a text-only link to a YT video.

He made a video about how he does it to shield himself from criticism or some shit because if they hate his persona, then it's not like they hate him so he won't get hurt feelings. What a fag.

that's honestly the weirdest part, GG literally looks like he just came from beating it to Hentai from his mom's basement in this video, well he looks like that all the time, & his wife is just... there.

What's funny is her series- Aki's Pixel Pets, is actually more enjoyable and tolerable than GG's stuff
My only gripe is boobs on Goomba

I think I kind of went overboard on calling out MatPat, but the guy is kind of like that kid with that annoying voice who applied math to everything, his show is kind of bland and dull, I was an avid watcher of all the Game Theories until they said Mario is a Communist, about there's were the show got really boring

I've always liked Game Theory but have cringed at the Goomba faggot. He must have some dirt on MatPat or something.

Also, I am more than certain he is probably one of those Asian fetishists, considering he only is interested in Japan, and like most of these people Asian=Japan. Also, one thing that always bugs me about weebs is their use of japanese words while talking english "gaijin" and "kawaii" does he live in Japan or something?
 
I watched a few of Gaijin Goomba's videos here and there. He doesn't come off so much as a lolcow to me as just.....a really dull, run of the mill Youtuber with a enhanced squeaky voice.

From my understanding, Gaijin, his wife, and some friends do gaming streams every so often (complete with their voices all altered to sound squeaky), and from what I've heard, it's them acting like drunken buffoons while Gaijin brags about how hot his wife is and how jealous we should be that his wife is "Taking off her top and showing her tits as we speak". Just......yeah.

I may as well admit I don't find him coming off as a lol-cow. Still doesn't excuse any sort of cringe with the goomba that has breast.

As far as thumbnails go, I remember at least seeing one of his avatar between the breast of an anime woman. Said thumbnail related to speaking about sexuality in Japan and how he finds it tiresome that people get puritanical over it but not over violence.

iirc, he actually lives and works in japan.
he knows his stuff from what i understand
but then again, i know a bit about japan, yet have never been there (japanese history is pretty neat, although i have very little interest in japan as it is now)
 
I don't know if the guy qualifies as a lolcow. I just remember watching a few videos and thinking it was crap.

There's actually a Game Theory video where you actually hear Gajin Goomba without the stupid pitch shifting. Thing is, I thought his normal voice was so dull that I would rather listen to it altered. Make of that what you will.
