One of the things that impresses me the most about Nova, is how inauthentic he feels in every way. Even the spergy things like posting Karaoke are tainted by generally only singing viral songs.
He really feels like everything he does is an act to be cool by association. The books he got a while ago, 'Court of Thorns and Roses' I believe? Tiktok viral. Foodhacks? Viral. All of the different foods and drinks he gobbles down? Either viral in themself, or copying viral trends of going to restaurants and acting like a faggot. Karaoke? Generally viral songs. Favourite bands? Viral. Where does he buy lots of his shiny things? Its stuff he's seen go viral on the Tiktok shop. Even some of his clothing is viral stuff. Microphone? The uwu "wow pink mic for a boy with rbgs" type of viral one. He also seems to pretty much exclusively play viral/semi-viral games: Fortnite, SF6 (After its resurgence), CoD: Blackops, Roblox, etc. He's got a PS5, and went to the point of getting a scalped Switch 2 because he needed it so badly. The Pokemon cards are probably the biggest one lately. I can get the monkey brain "Oook me likey collect shiny" because we all have our personal one. But he seems to be doing it because its popular. Let Pokemon die down and his binder of favourite cards is going to (literally) rot under a pile of garbage in his room.
He's a used car salesman's wet dream. You could sell him magic beans if you convinced him they were viral on Tiktok. He is the exact type of person that would, infact, jump off a cliff if all of his friends (lol) were doing it. But not even friends, just enough people online.
He's inexplicable in that he is such a normie in tastes to the extent that it comes across as comically inauthentic. It feels like Mom or Dad sat him down at some point and told him he needs to get into interests everyone else has so he can fit in. He then went on to take it to its logical extreme, without ever actually changing how he behaves. His personal behaviour too is where a lot of his problematic behaviour, like being a chomo comes from. Even his "Wow I'm so quirky ecksdee" things like reviewing truckstop showers feels so...safe weird instead of weird weird. Something a slightly more autistic Reviewbrah might do. At most its an excuse for him to be naked while recording, which he probably gets off on.
Tacking on to this, is the room he streams in his bedroom or a dedicated computer/rumpus room? I've seen many angles of his room but I don't think I've ever actually seen a bed in it.
