I'm pretty sure no Chandlers will be living in that home ever again.

Barb's going into a nursing facility, the home will be sold to pay for it, Chris will be hit with multiple lawsuits to pay whatever he owes and then the Merge happens.

But even our sister dimension doesn't want anything to do with Chris and he'll be sent to prison because it's funnier that way.

Question because i have no real idea how it works, is there any chance that, if Chris does get out before the house is foreclosed and barb dies, the bank might be willing to negotiate a lower monthly mortgage payment? Just jack up the interest, set autopay to pull the money the day after his SSI hits the bank. Just asking because i know banks love their money and figure they might prefer the guarantee of getting some money over the cost of selling and cleaning the place out

I highly doubt that, given the Chandler finances are in such a state that the reverse mortgage will mean the house will have to be probably given to the bank to pay it off as what money Chris/Barb have right now plus the minimal value of all the shit in said house likey won't cover it even a fourth of the way.

There's more money to be had in 14BC, anyway. Combined with the fact 14BC itself is of questionable condition, having gone through a house fire and likely not having had even minimal upkeep in that time, its possible the land itself is more valuable than the house and thus the bank could easily sell the property to a developer as-is instead of trying to flip the house. The developer then pays the bill to clean out and then subsequently demolish the house before bringing in the construction crews to rework the Earth (this also would mean the destruction of Patti's grave) for a new house foundation and utility connections up to modern building codes. The developer then could potentially flip the new house to the bank or whomever for a tidy sum since buying up homes is a big thing right now.

the merge has already happened. Chris is now in the Jail dimension.

Most likely, Chris will go to jail and Barb to a nursing home. The bank, already owning the house, will try to sell it just like every other home they foreclose. Since it's in bad condition, this will take some time. Either someone will buy it and live there or no one wants it until it crumbles. According to Wikipedia the population of Ruckersville increased by 200 people during the last decade, so likely someone will eventually move in and remove everything relating to Chris.

Between 2008 and now, Chris wasn't even that famous, I bet anyone who wants to buy the house won't even know him.

One way or the other, 14BC ends as sad and retarded as Christory.

Whoever buys that place is gonna get a place in Christory even if it is a minor role with a "This home was bought by the Smith family" with a brief profile on them. Hopefully, that will be the end of it unless the curse of Sonichu kicks in and we get another autist with a totally original idea. Maybe we will get a "My little hedgehog", pony/hedgehog, abomination next.

I'm surprised we haven't seen original pages of the Sonichu comic show up on eBay yet. I would think that Chris would give some weens permission to retrieve valuables for him (never to be seen again). Maybe the lawyer is preventing that so he can make a claim himself.

Is the house being monitored at the moment to make sure no one breaks in or fucks with it since the bank and mortgage lenders are eyeing on getting their hands clean of it soon enough?

Is there a way to see if house value increased for the area now that the chandlers are gone?

No, the house must be saved!

It's needed to house Crystal Weston Chandler after a female KF'er volunteers to bear her to term.

The valuation won't increase until that home looks remotely presentable. Even then, you also have to consider the fact that the address itself is blacklisted from many delivery services (BECAUSE ORDERING 100 PICKLE PIZZAS TO 14 BRANCHLAND COURT IS FUCKING COMEDY, HURR HURR HURR.)

Now, despite me saying that people shouldn't think about it, as a prediction, I'd expect somebody to raid that house for souvenirs at some point, or show up at auction to bid on Artifacts of Fail, because you just know somebody would. Give it a couple of months.

I'm genuinely surprised that it's been so many days and nothing like this happened yet, they were really quick with Chris' license plates and I doubt it's even that complicated to quietly break in the house, especially at night, etc.

there is probably nothing valuable enough in there worth catching a burglary charge over. I mean, who would really want to be known as the goofus who broke into the Chandler house?

I bet Chris chimping out , trying to get the cops ear, demanding they put some off/on duty cops as security to watch the house, cause Chris is 'famous.'

I'm really surprised some autist hasn't gone and just squatted in it. Seems right up Sockness' alley, fapping to some DCBs!

The house is most definitely going to be destroyed. Fixing up that place would take more effort than it's worth. Why would anyone spend the time and money to make that subpar house livable again when they can just start from scratch and make something better that, in the end, will be worth more?

Whoever buys that place is going to get any number of embarrasing diseases.

The Gunt is local.
