USA beat the Mexicucks in the second different final in 2 months lol. We truly are the kings of CONCACAF. Especially since we won this tournament with our "B" squad.
 
Congratulations USA, you are the best team in North America (and various islands). I don't know how you managed to beat off such tough competition like Qatar, Jamaica and Martinique but you did it.

Lionel Messi will leave Barcelona this summer as Barcelona cannot renew his contract due to apparent "financial and structural obstacles", no doubt referring to the clubs immense debt.

Statement from their website
Despite FC Barcelona and Lionel Messi having reached an agreement and the clear intention of both parties to sign a new contract today, this cannot happen because of Spanish LaLiga regulations on player registration.

As a result of this situation, Messi shall not be staying on at FC Barcelona. Both parties deeply regret that the wishes of the player and the club will ultimately not be fulfilled.

FC Barcelona wholeheartedly expresses its gratitude to the player for his contribution to the aggrandisement of the club and wishes him all the very best for the future in his personal and professional life.

Damn, hard to imagine the GOAT playing anywhere but Barca. Where could he even go? PSG? Ligue 1 doesn't deserve him. Man City? They just overpaid for Grealish. Bayern? I'd like to see the link up play between Messi and Lewandowski. I guess I hope he goes to Bayern.

For some reason the bookies have Inter in the mix. It would be funny to see him go to Italy just to bully Ronaldo again.
 
My bet is someone in MLS offers him about 17 train-cars worth of dollars to play in some plastic team nobody really cares about unless they have a big name in them.

This just in: Manchester City is ready to purchase Cristiano fucking Ronaldo, with some sources stating it is a done deal.
Apparently, Juventus were kinda fed up with keeping up with him and his huge-ass salary, with no international titles to show up for it. They also refused PSG's offer, which they likely won't come up with a bigger bid.
