Its a sad reality that the number 10 position in general is a dying breed of players it will be really hard for Argentina to find that type of player to build a squad around him

I hate doing the preseason predictions due to predicting where people will finish in a specific spot along with predicting before seeing stuff. That being said, I am bored on a Monday night listening to an old MATI so lets do an early season tier list instead (Its totally different guys, trust me)
The tiers are- Title contenders, European challengers, mid table warriors, relegation avoiders (think places 12th through 15th), and relegation battle.
Title Contenders-
Arsenal- Title defenders have upgraded a few spots. The only issue is Saliba being hurt but even with the selling of Vieira, Jesus, and Martinelli they are still solid. Plus they have a little financial flexibility for the January transfer window
Man City- They are still active in the transfer market with Ndiaye from Everton coming over, Grealish loaned back, Enzo and Gakpo being rumored, and a bunch of other players being rumored (will update when transfer window shuts). They might not be the team they were a few years ago, but they are still head and shoulders above the next tier
Chelsea- Xabi Alonso is being fully financed to create a team in his image. They won't be a true title contenders this year as their defense will hold them out, but their attack has me putting them better than title challengers
European Challengers-
Newcastle- Somehow they managed to still put together a decent squad despite losing so much including their manager. Wissa looks really dangerous, Elanga is finding form, Harvey Barnes and Lewis Hall are pretty solid down the left. Their match against Liverpool and Spurs have been pretty shocking to see how good they may be this year
Brighton- Always a challenge to the European spots, they put up a good match against Chelsea on the road and destroyed Aston Villa so bad that Ollie Watkins and Emi Martinez left. The only thing that gives me a little pause is their Conference League games this year
Manchester United- I don't think they will be a mid table team this year and will eventually figure some things out. But I can see them challenging for Europa League or Conference League spots as they haven't really figured out their defense. Ipswich should have scored more against them and Hull managed to defeat them at home. There is a lot of weakness but their attack might bail them out enough
Liverpool- Adding Barcola is a great step in the right direction, especially if they can hold onto Gakpo. Iraola had a very similar problem at Bournemouth when he started, losing or drawing up until October 28th of that year against Burnley. From there, Bournemouth just shot well up the table. So they will probably struggle for a bit until his team fully understands what he wants them to do and they will become really dangerous but it will be too much of a gap to become a title contender
Brentford- Last team I will put in here. Brentford just do this every year. They will keep playing the Bournemouth style with a bunch of players who either can't play at another premier league team or unknown talents that won't be there next year.
Mid Table warriors-
Hull City- A win at home, beating a fellow promoted team, and a very well defensive team that has some basic attacking style is a recipe to survive. Mid table finish would be like winning the league for them and I think they can do it.
Leeds United- Daniel Farke has figured out the formula to keep Leeds in the mid table for a little while. I don't think they will have an issue staying mid table but they could drop into the next tier but they would be safe at that point.
Sunderland- They have a solid team that seemed to have crossed into this season pretty well. Europa League will be a challenge that will keep them off the European challenges this year but they will comfortably survive.
Nottingham Forest- Oliver Glasner will either have enough time to get this team to operate the way he wants or their insane owner will drag them into a relegation battle. There is no in between.
Everton- David Moyes has his style implemented to perfection. They lost a few players but got Grealish back and Balogun might be a solid forward for him this year. Should be a mid table finish again this year.
Relegation Avoiders-
Fulham- They will not be mid table but I think Arbeloa and they Real Madrid youth talent will be enough to keep them comfortably away from relegation with 4-5 match days to go.
Bournemouth- Iraola's team and style is still implemented here, and that should be enough to survive comfortably. The draw at home to Everton wasn't great but the way they played away to Man City makes me think they will pick up points against bottom and top of the table teams while drawing against mid table.
Spurs- While I would love to see them get relegated (like they should have last season), they have put way too much money into this squad with De Zerbi to get relegated or come down to the final day. Its definitely going to take a while before they get things figured out and watching De Zerbi freak out next season will be fun though.
Ipswich- I think this team will be on the border right now. They could easily drop down a spot but they had a good first half against Man United and picked up a solid win against Sunderland already. Not entirely convinced but early season and I reserve the right to move these around
Relegation Battle-
Aston Villa- They lost way too much without replacing them. The loss to Arsenal is a little concerning since they normally manage to pick up points against Arsenal (fuckers), but the destruction to Brighton is really frightening. They have just been shedding players without replacing them and will also have Champions League to worry about this year. Can't see them avoiding this right now.
Crystal Palace- They kept losing players but Glasner was the magician who kept saving them. Now he is gone and they have Europa League schedule to deal with. There is no way a team that throws random youth team players on their bench will be able to manage survival.
Coventry- This is the Frank Lampard special. His limit is top of the Championship and relegation in the Premier League right now. I think he will get some solid experience this time around and might be able to figure out how to survive his next go around but that requires failing this time.
Anyways, critique always appreciated. And @Onni Kalsarikännit can you do one for the Bundesliga?

I agree it's unlikely but I desperately want this relegation to happen. Reacting to barely avoiding relegation last season by spending £300+mil, only to get relegated anyway would be pure undiluted kino.

Transfer window closes today for Bundesliga so there might something screw up any prediction in the last moments (like last season how everybody saw Hamburg as a clear candidate for relegation back to 2. Bundesliga last season but then they got Viera and Vuskovic in the last seconds and weren't that bad overall).
The tiers are "Champion(s)", "Europa cup(s)", "Eintracht Frankfurt", "No man's land" and "Relegation Rumble".
I. Champion(s)
Obviously, it's FC Bayern Munich and only FC Bayern Munich. Last season they were ahead of 2nd team Borussia Dortmund by 16 points and 50 goals. Bayern not only broke the all time record of goals scored in one season, they obliterated it with 122 goals across 34 matches. Their squads hasn't gone worse. They got rid of a few players they don't really need but cost lots of money and brought in that one Moroccan guy. Musiala seems to be out bc of some weird illness. The real test of how good FC Bayern really is is in the Champions League.
II. Europa Cup(s)
Behind FC Bayern should be Borussia Dortmund. They were ahead of the 3rd RB Leipzig by 8 points. They got rid of some players (most notably Brandt, Süle, Özcan and Adeyemi, also Couto left on a loan) that didn't really improve the squad or were hit-or-miss most of the time but cost a lot of wage. They brought in two Greek players that a lot of people are hyped for. One is Konstantinos Karetsas from Genk (18 years) who is hailed as a young talent, the other is Giannis Konstantelias from PAOK. Funny side story; the ultras of PAOK tried to prevent the transfer (they already did that succesfully last season when Konstantelias was bound to leave for Stuttgart). He clearly was is an improvement as he has shown his skills in the super cup match against FC Bayern last weekend. This weekend Bundesliga started where Dortmund
won against Hamburg with Konstantelias scoring his first league goal. Unfortunately for Dortmund he got injured and will be out for most of the season (Kreuzbandriss, translator says it's "cruciate ligament rupture"). Dortmund also brought in Veerman from PSV and a lot of younger guys (all around 17/18 years old).
Only thing standing in the way for Dortmund is their coach Kovac bc 1. he isn't really known for exciting offensive heavy metal football and 2. he always starts to suck after 1,5-2 years. Overall tho the mood within the club and fans seems to be really good.
In the race for the other 2 CL spots left are as usually RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart.
Lot of people have RB Leipzig not in their top 4 predictions for two main reasons. One is that Diamonde left and two is their new coach Martin Demichellis who hasn't quite that reputation of being a top tier coach, yet. Leipzig brought back Nkunku from AC Mailand on a loan who back then in his first stint with Leipzig was one of the best players in Bundesliga. They also snatched Rocco Reitz from Borussia Mönchengladbach, a 24year old midfielder who was the one keeping Gladbach a float last season. First match for Leipzig was ironically against said Gladbach and Reitz scored. Besides losing Diamonde to Real Madrid Leipzig only saw two other, major players leaving; one their #1 goalkeeper Gulasci and two midfielder Xaver Schlager who was their midfield motor.
I have no fucking clue what's happening in Leverkusen. Like I have lost track completely who has left and who is new like everybody else, probably even Leverkusen has lost track who they are selling and buying. They got a bunch of new players in, lots of with Spanish names. Their squad rather reads now like they are a fucking drug cartel from Colombia rather than a football team. Besides Andrich basically nobody from their double season is left and Andrich got first demoted from being team captain but now he allegedly got promoted back to being the captain. Leverkusen is probably the Wundertüte of the season where everything can happen. But given that it's Leverkusen and they usually have some clue what they are doing they should be fine. Except they got fucking wrecked this weekend against new to Bundesliga club Elversberg and lost 3:0.
Stuttgart is doing Stuttgart things. Constantly improving despite losing players. They lost the opening match of the new season to FC Bayern but everybody does.
Contenders for the Europa League and Conference League are TSG Hoffenheim (can't say much about them bc I really don't care about them) and SC Freiburg (not following them either but from what I heard/read/saw is that they are doing their thing as usually and stick to their humble roots)
Lot of people have FSV Mainz on their bingo card for Europe. They were one of the best teams in last season's 2nd half. Urs Fischer (the guy who lead Union Berlin into Bundesliga and then CL) really seems to be a good fit for Mainz and their style of play.
III. Eintracht Frankfurt
FC Bayern may be known as FC Hollywood but Eintracht Frankfurt is known as the "Diva vom Main" (Diva from the river Main) and boy oh boy is the diva back. Hot topic of the last days is "head of sports" Markus Krösche. While he is responsible for the massive transfers of Marmoush to Man City, Kolo Muani to P$G and Ekitike to Liverpool which all flowed a shitload of money into Frankfurt's accounts for some unknown reasons Frankfurt suddenly really needs to make some bucks by selling talent and as quick as possible. Why? Nobody knows. Also it came to light that Krösche is involved in some weird house buying deal in Croatia that also involves the wife of the agent of Riera. It seems that more shady deals happened behind closed doors that sunk a shitload of money.
Riera got sacked a few weeks ago and they brough back Adi Hütter who once left Frankfurt while burning some bridges with the club and the fans. Hütter made amends when he came back and apologized. We had a shitty short preparation stint with most notably Frankfurt losing seven fucking nill to Brentford. The squad is a mess while we also lost Nathanial Brown to FC Bayern. This might become a rough season for Frankfurt. Missing European competition means losing out on money and puts some pressure on the team but without that it means the team can focus solely on the league. It's expected that Frankfurt competes for the Europa League spots but the general mood around the club is messy.

IV. No man's land
FC Augsburg is probably the only club that deserves to be named here bc I don't see them attacking the top but I also don't see them getting involved in the battle for relegation. It's Augsburg, their ceiling is around 10th or 11th.

I'll name them here but I wouldn't be surprised if we see them fighting against relegation.
Then there is freshly promoted SV Elversberg. It's their first season ever in the top flight of German football. It's a very small club from an even smaller town but they have huge financial back up by some local company. In 2. Bundesliga they played very offensive and aggressive. They have a lots of player in their squad who join them from other clubs on loan. Besides that I don't really know a lot about them. A lot of people (so called experts) think Elversberg won't have much to do with the relegation battle.
V. Relegation Rumble
First clear contender is SC Paderborn, also freshly promoted after beating VfL Wolfsburg in the relegation matches. They lost most of their important players while also not really having a lot of money to buy new players so they are the obvious first pick.
Next team is FC Schalke. They played a furious last season and became champions in 2. Bundesliga while also having the best defence. They didn't really lose any important players so theoretically they should be fine. Most importantly tho is that there are enough other clubs that might struggle really hard this season.
Clubs like Werder Bremen. Their suqad is a mess. A pure fucking mess. They brought back Füllkrug but he had a rough time since leaving Bremen. Their most important player Jens Stage was on the brink of leaving, then stayed and got injured and will be out for the rest of the year. They also sold other important players like Romano Schmid (offensive midfield), their goalkeeper Backhaus and defender Coulibaly bc they had to bc the club is notoriously broke. Now they are left with a lot of young and unexperienced players, players who are injured, players who didn't fullfil their expectations and players who are past their prime or struggle at the moment.
Then there is Union Berlin who had one of the worst offensives last season and didn't improve there. Union is a club who defends with like 11 players and while their attack is throwing a dice and praying to God that somehow the ball finds his way into their opponents goal. Just read that they sold another attacker today. They also brought in a new coach who wants their style of play so good luck with that I guess.
FC Cologne missed getting relegated last season by only 1 win (or 3 points). Their break out player last season was young Said El Mala who decided to stay at the club which is huge but he's their only life insurance.
Hamburger SV got lucky and got two huge players on loan last season which both contributed heavily to Hamburg staying in Bundesliga. One was Fabio Viera from Arsenal, one was Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham. They could get Viera from Arsenal tho but besides that their offensive is still lacking.
The most exciting part of the new season is going to be the battle for relegation for sure with 6-8 teams being contenders for going down.
IV. No man's land

Just read that Dortmund got Nwaneri on a loan from Arsenal as replacement for the injured Konstantelias. Any opinion on that guy?

Update on the 1860 Munich situation. They had to use another logo after the club went into bankrupcy bc of the whole situation and how the legal bullshit works that Jordanian sheik owned the traditional lion symbol but they got it back and can now use it again. Also they got their youth players back that could now be called up in their main team theoretically.

I still don't understand how the management of Man Utd still haven't addressed their left back position Luke Shaw looks like he is way past it from last season, I can understand that they spent a lot of money signing midfielders this summer and I understand that their target Lewis Hall is a bit expensive but why haven't they thought of a back up option/ loan deal that could help them if this scenario happened
United had a really good chance for competing for the title this season because if you look at the top teams right now like Man city, Chelsea, Livershit, Newcastle, Spurs are in a transitional period apart from Arsenal, United really blew their momentum from last season with this transfer which is very disappointing for me as a long time fan

He is a really good right winger who can play as an attacking midfielder. Arsenal currently have a lot of people in those positions but he looks like he will develop into another player for the future. If they continue to develop, I could see him and Max Dowman doing some damage in a couple of years.
Luke Shaw at left back and Marcus Rashford as left wing. Is this a Manchester United line up from 2016 or 2026?
