Futbol thread.

Yamal had a torn harmstring injury that took him out at the end of the season until the world cup. Like, I get it. I don't like browns or muslims that much either and shitposting and stuff but you retards acting like he is not a fucking talent despite his age (18) are really fucking clowns and I'd prefer you threadshitting tourists would just fuck off back to the thunderdome.
Fuck Niggers

I still got an important question.

Who the fuck plays for Spain that they were supposedly good?

I couldn't name like a single star player without using Google for this squad.

And Zlatan is over on Fox Sports acting so smug calling it for Spain. And EA as well with their FIFA prediction meme.
Rodri is a huge star. He is the 7th player to "complete" football. He has won his domestic governing body's tournament (the euros), the world cup, the Balon D'or, the champions league, and a domestic league. People sleep on defensive midfielders but when they are world class, teams become so much better. Pirlo, Makelele, Kante, Caicedo, Rodri, Busquets, and now Rodri just make teams so much better. When you don't have such an amazing defensive mid who can run the game from in front of the back line, you end up with teams going to a double pivot to try and maximize that position better
I really did think that clubs were learning after the Neymar, Pogba, Lukaku, Dembele, and Coutinho disasters, but I guess not.
I mean, those were absolutely disasters. But I wouldn't really consider Grealish a disaster. They won the Champions League in his second season and he started in the finals while playing the full 90 minutes that game. Along with however many titles and other cup competitions. Enzo Fernandez probably shouldn't have cost over 100 mil but he went in the January window after the 2022 World Cup so his price was a bit inflated. He should have cost about 75-80 mil and would have been a good signing for them at that price, but I don't think he has been a flop the likes of Pogba or Lukaku. Rice and Caicedo have both been successful at their clubs to such a degree that it basically green lit the next 2 transfer windows of players. I think Isak will be better once he has an actual pre season and doesn't destroy his knee. Wirtz is probably a casualty of Slot being a dutch bald manager (look up how many people qualify for that and how terrible their tactics are). Tonali, Anderson, and Morgan Rodgers are all moving within the premier league, which follows the Manchester United formula used last year of just buying premier league proven players. I think this has been a change in how clubs are trying to spend their money but the market itself is dictating that premier league proven talent will cost you a pretty penny. (Also would like to point out that 4 of the 9 players are English born transferring to English clubs so that will inflate the price a lot)

Once we stop getting normies, there is a very interesting thing happening at Oxford United

"I have so much to thank this country for... but one of the things I will always regret about having chosen Spain as my second home is the fucking racism. The people here are extremely racist. I'm really telling you.
You know that since this tournament started—at least those of you who follow me know—that I have been supporting Spain. And honestly, I support them for two reasons: one, for being my second home; and two, for playing good football, because if they made it to the final, it's because the guys have been playing really well.
This afternoon, all excited, I went over to one of those places where they set up a big screen so you can watch the match. Honestly, I was super excited. If you look at my page, I’ve posted stuff ever since I got there.
But where's the problem? We arrived and stood near some guys who were standing there, hanging out, watching everything—well, living life like any young person. And there we were, not harming anyone or doing anything wrong.
Suddenly they came up and said, 'No, you have to leave, you can't be here.' So I asked him, 'But why?' He said, 'No, because I need to be sitting down watching the match.' I told him, 'If you wanted to watch the match sitting down, why didn't you stay at home?' He replied, 'No, because I've been here since 5 in the afternoon, you weren't here, you just got here,' and all that. What does one thing have to do with the other?
If we are celebrating, if we want to watch a match, in my opinion, I think the most polite or sensible thing to do was to say, 'Let's all make room here so we can all watch the match.' You know? But of course, logically, he was with a Spanish woman who, as always, took their side, and we ended up leaving. That upset me immensely, which is why I'm not watching the match.
But I still wish Spain good luck, and may they win if they're the best. This fucking racism, I feel like it's never going to end in this country."
So, if I understood it correctly, the guy was like "lol step aside nigger this is my spot" and she cried about it in her car. Okay.

Argentinians are proto-Jews, that is my belief. Such an interesting development—maybe the Israel-Argentina connection was much more relevant than I thought.

You know what? I had the real revenge against the 🇪🇸—aren’t we, after all, 1.5 million Argentinians with citizenship? From now on, let’s vote for the PSOE, so they end up being conquered by Africans.
More comments:
The sweetest revenge. And on top of that they think they get the passport because the bulk want to go live in the EU, when in reality it’s so they can travel with a few fewer visas or study by paying far less at their universities.
It’s that you didn’t understand that that number is who has the citizenship but we DON’T live there (but we still vote 😏).

It’s our chance to do something really hilarious—it’s just a matter of organizing, and you already saw that when it comes to determination, few of us can be outmatched...
And if they vote for the party that supports Catalonia and the Basque Country becoming independent? (I don’t know if there is one that supports it.)
Considering that there are about 45M Argentinians, it is obvious that not everyone is expected to be the same. Here's one example of them being against mass migration, most importantly related to free (or, rather, ridiculously low-cost) education and healthcare:

This is a bit of a rabbit hole, I must say. There's the so-called "invasion" of mud-peoples of Peru, Paraguay, Bolivia and so on, getting their much-needed "help"; but why should anyone help anyone? So much Basic Fucking Human Empathy on display, not just in Argentina but also all over Europe.
It is the displacement of the once-Europeans, the decay of the "Paris of Latin America"—the symptom of decay that we've all been laughing or complaining about.
But that's about as much sympathy as I'm willing to provide for the day. I'm mildly exhausted from else-things.

I’m sorry to disagree. Outlets like Fatto Quotidiano, La Stampa, Il Giornale, La Repubblica, Sky News, and many others have published tremendous editorials about Argentina in the past few days, and the comments from Italians were dreadful.

Gavi clutching less pearls than kiwifarmers after being judo thrown. Come into football thread > cry about how soft the game is > also cry when Argentinians whoop some ass after the final whistle.

Take a bow, son. Already liked Gavi before, but like him even more now.

I once got banned for 3 days from 4chan for making a post on /pol/ asking if Argentines were white.

Sports teams in general are pretty ass ways of gauging a nation's demographics because of course they choose the chimpiest of the bunch, and oftentimes that ends up being the blackest and beaniest of the bunch. It varies by sport, of course, like I'd wager the cricket teams of any country would be full of jeets.

Same reason the math teams of every country tend to be Chinese (and maybe Indian, but much less so).

Until proven otherwise every post I don't like is a bot or worse, a jeet.
But I do have my doubts how many posts are actual genuine people.

Fernandes and Summerville out for 140m total, mad how we became instantly better at transfers as soon as Sullivan fucked off

If only the stadium situation could get sorted out. Aren't you guys locked into that concrete bowl of despair for a long while?

t-16 days til football starts again and I'm already on cold turkey. This is what expanded champions leagues and world cups do to you.
