Next cup is going like this too, and so are future Olympics after the LA games. Shit sucks but this is now how it will work for the forseeable future in order for maximum jewery.

I was on the fence on who I'd rather win, but after hearing the crowd chant Ole, on some midfield passes 3 minutes in on a 0-0 score, just cements my view of mexicans as low level football people.

I can't wait to watch a good half of the match being England just casually passing the ball back to defenders because they're cowards afraid of losing possession.

But real talk this looks like it's going to get spicy. We might see a full blown shitstorm of fouls once someone gets 'wronged' badly.
 
Ref isn't going to do shit once a bone cruncher tackle goes in, there was a really interesting slide tackle by Mexico a few minutes ago which missed the player so nothing happened, but once someone gets a good hack in it's over.

They should just hold these big International competitions at places that already have the infrastructure to begin with instead of awarding to country's who build just for these events & tear em down when its over.

I was so tired of the commentators glazing Aztec Stadium. Yeah, the stadium where they need barbed wire and riot police to hold back the psychotic Mexican fans that throw piss and shit at players is sooooooo beautiful.
