Futbol thread.

I wish there was more transparency in the decision. It'd make sense if the decision was basically, "yeah it's technically a red card but we've reviewed all the available data and determined that it was not intentional so we've decided to suspend it"

But the fact that there's no rationale is going to fuel some serious seething.

I swear there's a segment of football fans who hate football and want the sport to be a cross between Wenger and Guardiola's style where one team passes the ball around for 30 minutes and the only legitimate way for the other team to get the ball is for the first team to make a mistake. They hate pressing, they hate tackles and they think teams should just respect the other team with the ball as they're morally superior.

Spain and Barcelona's peak between 2008-2014 was probably the worst thing to ever happen to football.
I'll blame jeets and muzzies, who else could I blame for such massive faggotry.
And I hope the US goes all the way, if they can knock out some world champs I'd be hilarious, the eurocuks and assorted thirdies would be seething.

You say it like its a bad thing. Euros are seething because the ref didn't give paraguay more cards, even though they played mostly aggresively and nothing needing carding.

Just make the ref position something for Make A Wish kids. He can stand there and give a yellow card to Mickey Mouse or something while the players can actually play a game and not be at the behest of a serial semen slurper.

I just don't like the discourse around this sport whenever the WC rolls around. I'm an Amerigolem and most of our sports talk is very chill and technical outside of meme shit.

All the viciousness and slurs and muckraking over soccer feel genuinely kinda gross if I'm gonna be honest. Maybe I'm just a moralfaggot.

Trump made a tweet about it you can't make this shit up :story:

I just checked Reddit for shits and giggles and the absolute TDS meltdown on r/soccer crying about corruption and FIFA being in Trumps pocket are like mana from Heaven.

It's even better after I saw Euros and Britbongs do nothing but shit on "you entitled yanks" for saying the initial call was absolutely terrible.

The cope and seethe are absolutely delicious.

I love how he's openly thanking FIFA for allowing a birthright citizen to play while actively fighting to prevent birthright citizenship.
The economics for pro athletes are obviously different, if Balogun wanted to pay however much it costs to become a naturalized citizen he'd be able to do it easily. But the irony is fun. So I personally don't care, it makes Euros seethe that me and millions of other Amerimutt soccer casuals are watching, which is fun and of itself.

This is just open corruption lmao. Fuck everybody who supports niggerball.
