losing to getafe at home is insane for a team of real's caliber. the ucl is coming up too and their opponents are a slightly rejuvenated man city..

just focus on next season at this point, a rebuild is massively needed.
How the fuck did rudiger not get sent off?

@DSP's Tax Lawyer i disagree with spurs going down because west hams games are infinitely harder and can't see them catching spurs.

Fulham away
City away
Villa home
Wolves home
Palace home
Everton away
Brentford away
Arsenal home
New castle away
Leeds home

I just can't see west ham picking up enough points to get out of relegation from this.
You seem to forget one thing, and that is we are massive

That being said, all the stupid points dropped like vs united and bournemouth really aren't helping

Lol. LMAO even

Huge news in Brazil: After losing the Intercontinental Cup to PSG, the Brazilian Super Cup to Corinthians, and Recopa Sud Americana to Lanús, Flamengo has officially sacked their coach Filipe Luís.

Last year he drove the team to their most successful season since 2019… and now he is shown the door just like that.
I just hope Flamengo implodes even more.

The fact that our Vitão is in their bench and we are getting fucked because we have zero defensive players worth it makes me so fucking mad.

Also last grenal was the most embarrassing shit I ever seen that I stopped watching just to run instead in the next 45 minutes.

So here's the thing. I can see them easily picking up 5 points here. Villa, Wolves, Palace, Everton, Brentford, Newcastle, and Leeds are all places where you could pick up points to gather steam. You are also playing well enough for it. Forest as well can pick up points against Spurs, Villa, Burnley, and Newcastle. Outside of Crystal Palace, Leeds, and Everton on the last day, I don't see Spurs winning anything. They don't even believe they are in a relegation battle right now

The Islamic Republic of London's Ayatollah has struck mainland YooKay once again.

The world's number 1 sponsor of terrorist football. I just pray for the world's sake that he's stopped before season's end.

edit: jokes aside, being a fan of Mourinho and Simeone, you do what it takes to win. And sometimes winning can get downright ugly.

Tottenham Hotspur lose 3-1 and have one of the few defenders sent off who isn't injured or suspended. They lost to a terrible Crystal Palace team that have been on a terrible run themselves with half their academy team on the pitch. Crystal Palace were self sabotaging the whole second half and still comfortably won.
We have to recognize the possibility that Tottenham get relegated, the odds still give them only a 14% chance of going down but this doesn't take into account that their "winnable" games are Wolves who are in amazing form and Leeds/Forest not being as easy as it is on paper. They HAVE to win 3 more games out of the remaining 9 but the damage might have already been done. The fans and the players aren't up for the fight.

They really are in deep shit, because as bad as Forest and West Ham have been this season, they're used to being in a relegation scrap and they're willing to roll their sleeves up and fight for the shirt when times get tough. Hotspud players look disjointed, dejected, and confused. Before tonight I still thought they'd stay up but that's out the window now and this is the reality they find themselves in.

The Chinese super league starts this weekend and half of the league starts with point deductions bc of match fixing, sports betting and whatever sorts of corruption under the sun.

Vardrid needing the refs to not call a blatant foul to literally steal 3 pts vs Celta is pretty fucking gross.

That non-call on Alonso is criminal because do that shit to Vinny or Kylian and it's a yellow. Real Madrid without Mbappe are pedestrian and tonight they were at their most pathetic. Problem is Celta were somehow even more pathetic. Couldn't string 2 got damn passes together to save their lives and Iglesias is a big lumbering plank with cement boots.

There seems to be trend for a while of clubs in England being sponsored by weird betting businesses, some of which weren’t even allowed to operate in the U.K. Always wondered why so many betting firms were all over sportsball. Given some of the results in the upper echelons on football globally, you have to wonder sometimes if a lot more clubs, games and officials aren’t involved in match fixing. That’s entirely outside of the ‘fuck me, the ref is shit’ moaning that happens like clockwork at every game.

In the EFL Championship, Millwall continue to be doing the hilarious thing and challenging for one of the automatic promotion spots. Unless they really shit the bed in the last part of the season, they should at least make the play-offs. Everyone, please join me in a prayer to request the funniest fucking thing to happen to the Prem in years happens.

Ipswich and Leicester drew 1-1, proving that it really is possible for both teams to lose. Leicester are desperate for points after playing the most mediocre football all season and then having six points stolen from them by the big, bad football powers that be, for breaching profit and sustainability rules. Ipswich are desperate for points to also challenge for one of the auto promotion spots, and to prove that despite still being annoyingly good this season, they’re still capable of shooting themselves in the foot for fun and (lack of) profit.

And fuck Wrexham. I really hope they don’t make the play-offs for their stupid reality teevee Hollywood super cool and (entirely un-)relateable owners. I despise the bullshit media circus around them, and despise even more that this seems to translate into promotion for them every fucking season. The whole thing is fake and gay.

West Brom continue to struggle at the wrong end of the table. Sad times.
