Derby did all that they could, but alas they've gone down today with Barnsley. Peterborough are all but confirmed down with the points margin with Reading. Rooney worked miracles, but the EFL is the work of the devil

Damn, Ronaldo's newborn son just passed

Damn, I never thought I'd feel bad for Ronaldo so soon after he left my beloved Juventus hanging in the beginning of the season. RIP

The Serie A race for 4th place is on. Roma stays in contention with a hard fought draw at Napoli. Based on form, I'd say they have a legitimate chance of passing Juve. I almost hope this happens if it will lead to Allegri getting the sack. Fiorentina also still in the running with a chance to gut Juve on the last matchday after selling them their best player in January.

Can't imagine how deadly him and the forward from River Plate will be together up top with that midfield
They have an embarrassment of riches. Grealish, who signed for 100 mil last summer, is now basically just a squad player. I don't see the midfield of Silva-Rodri-De Bruyne changing any time soon. The front 3 once Haaland signs will be something like Foden-Haaland-Alvarez. The thought of Haaland on the other end of perfectly weighted passes from Silva and De Bruyne should scare the hell out of the competition.

Unfortunately for us, Fulham will be back in the Prem next season. Congratulations in advance for their 23/24 promotion.
Keep Khan far away from recruitment and they might survive for a change, especially if Everton and Leeds fail to amend problems over the Summer window.

Imo Grealish is someone who is going to be integrated into the squad over a year or two then be a major player. I am not sure who, but one or two players are going to end up leaving in the next couple of years. Having Grealish there with a few years experience with this squad will allow him to seamlessly fit into the squad when the time comes. I just wonder who the 3rd team to try and compete with them is after Liverpool now that Chelsea are getting fucked over by the British Government

It'll still likely be Chelsea. Once the buyer is confirmed, it'll be back to normal for them. A bit less money to spend, but their squad is already loaded. Of the clubs with the spending power to compete at the top, the other options are Arsenal and United, both who are too sloppy to keep up. Newcastle maybe, but I dont see them becoming a title challenger until the new owner has a few seasons under their belt

The Ricketts' bid was a bit quixotic, in part because of the anti-US owner backlash in British football, but also because their ownership interest in the Chicago Cubs winning would come into question. Furthermore, the Sinclair TV networks haven't been the money makers they thought they would be.

C

And so the usual cycle of Manc delusions begins anew. Can't wait for the usual retards (Neville, Rio) start hammering out how United are back after they spunk 200m on meme players in the summer
I used to like Neville's commentary but it has gotten so repetitive, predictable, and retarded as of late. Oh let me guess, its the owners fault the club sucks. Yes the owners who hired people to run their club are at fault for not actively running it. Don't blame the people actually running the club, blame the owners who understand enough about the game that they realize they don't know jack shit and left the decisions up to people who claim to know the game. God Gary has fallen from grace
