Anyway, today is the group draw for the World Cup. I seriously don't know why would they do it so soon, when there are still three playoff matches to be played. Couldn't they wait until I don't know, May or early June for that?

The matches to be played are all delayed for one reason or another so no doubt they just decided not to postpone. It was also probably this early because they kept the same schedule a summer tournament would have.

Group C isn't a group of death. Argentina is going to run through that group. E has the best team in Asia, Germany, and Spain who are both on the up in terms of form. Group H is very interesting and I don't think you can drop points and expect to advance

C also has Poland and Mexico, both very capable teams. As for H, i'd say only Portugal and Korea are a level above, would be surprised if either dont get through

Bet your ass Suarez has no remorse about it and he would do it again if he had to.

Group C might be interesting. Mexico has a tendency to sometimes play up to their level of competition. But their CONCACAF octagonal run has been subpar and they really haven’t been able to score goals.

I can’t stand Guillermo Ochoa and I would love it if Messi and Lewandowski hat trick his ass. Carlos Acevedo should get a chance in goal for Mexico.

Suarez’ handball might not even be the craziest thing that happened in that quarterfinal game. Sebastian “Loco” Abreu’s Panenka penalty to win it for Uruguay was crazy and ballsy.

I basically don't watch football any more, and intended to actively avoid the World Cup, but I'm giddy thinking about all the different ways this could be exceptionally dumb and gay. The football will be terrible, but the media shitshow will be amazing. Whoever at FIFA booked this group is a genius.
