Spurs buy Kulusevski for 40m and Bentancur for 19m with add ons for both if they finish top 4. Juve are now set up to complete their deal with Zakaria today. Really impressive transfer window from the Juventus front office.

From everything I've been reading on Zakaria, he's like a young Matuidi but with more technical ability. Bayern and United both rate the player and were looking to sign him in the summer. Really smart move for Juve to cut them off at the pass, knowing they can't compete with the big money at those clubs. The same can be said about Vlahovic, who was on Man City's summer radar.

But yeah, can't wait to see them play. Zakaria brings the defensive stability that should allow Locatelli to play a more advanced and creative role. And hopefully the money we brought in from the Kulu and Bentancur transfers will help us retain Dybala, who I really don't want to see leave now that a solid team has been built around him.

Christian Eriksen has pretty much signed for Brentford, but since he is a free agent the club has opt to wait to finalise the deal as they attempt to complete other transfers on the final day.

Barcelona binning servicable but problematic Dembele so they can sign dogshit and problematic Auba on a free transfer is fucking hilarious.

They're gonna be trying to offload him in a year, what a completely brainless signing just because they're seething about Dembele not wanting to sign a new contract.

What makes it even more comical is Xavi saying in 2020 Barca don't need Auba, and Auba in the past publicly gagging to play for Real because that was his now deceased Grandfathers favourite club, so it was his promise to his Grandfather and his dream to play for them one day.
 
Congratulations to Senegal, AFCON champions. A rather dreadful match where Egypt parked the bus the best they could. It goes to show that strategy just doesn't work every time unless you're willing to take risks.

Lol, the Juve game was the only break from Gunt content I've been able to force myself to take today. But yeah, it's been a 5 star kind of day. Vlaohvic's goal was a gem and Zakaria played really well. I'm curious to see who our 3rd midfielder will be once Loca is back. I liked what I saw out of Artur today. But otoh McKennie brings a lot of energy when he's fit.

I was very impressed with Vlahovic, great opening goal and you could tell he was passionate the whole match through. I can't wait for the whole squad to be back, with Loca and Chiesa. Next season should be great.
