The cheat code is infinite money bc they are owned by a country.

PSG is only a different story bc they are simply not competend enough. As soon as stop being retards and get the right heads on board they might get better.


But to be fair: the issues I have with certain clubs are just one part of the problem. UEFA and FIFA are doing their part in ruining football too. And they are probably worse. Wait, forget the "probably". They are worse than cheat code clubs.
 
No word so far on who's going to be Brazil's next coach.
As of now they are being coached by Ramon Menezes, the U-20 trainer. No word on whether Carlo Ancelotti accepted or declined their offer.
The 2026 World Cup qualifiers start in September, and while every other NT is organizing themselves, Brazil is in a sorry state. We need a rebuilding plan pronto, but we have next to nothing.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed a couple of weeks ago that Ancelotti's plan was to respect his RM contract until it expires next year. If he does move it's probably then.

What a shame. Brazil have some really good players at the moment too, but it feels like they're going down the same route Spain have had recently.
 
What a performance by Dybala in the first half, and Roma, surprisingly, has not parked the bus yet despite being ahead 1-0. Even if they lose today, Roma has to do everything they can to keep Mourinho and Dybala if they aim to achieve big things.
 
I supported Roma in that game for Dybala but a part of me is happy Mourinho fell short in the end. Picking 2 central defenders and a defensive midfielder as your first 3 penalty takers? Fucking retard, lol. Maybe you shouldn't have banned Zaniolo from the project.
 
Now it's Spain's turn to send an eighth team to Europe. And after next week's ECL final either Italy or England will do the same. And that could mess with next year's coefficient depending on the results (just look at how the German teams did this year).

Sevilla making it to Europe won't throw off anything. They will finish third in their group and run through the Europa League again while finishing 11th in La Liga

Idk if this is him threatening to leave or him demanding to get more investment in the squad. From what I remember, he went to Roma to prove he was still an elite manager who could perform without needing 100 mil+ transfer windows. I think he has done that to an extent but he wants to have some form of investment. They spent a total of 9 mil with transfer and loan fees this season and sold 67.49 mil according to Transfermarkt. I am guessing he would have wanted to at least spend half the money made from transfers to try and compete next season which is a reasonable ask for someone as ambitious as him.
 
One mistake I think Mourinho made today was starting Dybala, he should have entered in the second half so that he could help the team in case of Extra Time or even solved the game in the end. Roma was left with no real creative alternatives after he was subbed out.

I think it's good for the sport for him to be managing a top club so I hope he continues somewhere other than Roma. He has nothing left to prove but it would be big for his legacy if he' is able to win a champions league with PSG. As long as Mbappe is there, everything is possible.

I think he's absolutely proven that. Roma isn't a great squad and getting them to 2 finals in a row is a huge accomplishment imo.

If he goes to PSG, he'll be able to buy pretty much any player on the market. But he'll also have to run everything by Mbappe so maybe not the best situation for him.

Yeah, I gotta agree, he won't be able to get anything more of Roma without investments, which at the moment is unclear if they are willing to do.
PSG's history at the UCL is so pathetic that him winning the tournament for them would be a massive achievement, and even if he doesn't win it, he would very likely win the Ligue 1, which at least is one more national championship he would be able to add to his resume.

If he stays, I think he should focus on the Coppa Italia, its a big title that they haven't won in a long time.

Oh for sure. I also like that he's done that after his United and Tottenham jobs which were average and a disaster. I hope he goes to a big club again and does something. Although it would be fun to see him go into international duty for a bit. But my best guess is he will be at Roma until about November when Chelsea fire Poch
