My suggestion would be to archive a link to the Google Doc, and then save a copy of the Google Doc as a PDF as well. That way, you have an archive that you can link to and a hard copy in case anything happens to the archive.

I'd also like to suggest an addendum to the DHC section in the OP since it crosses into an OP I've previously written, the Nitro Rooski/Matthew Soltys thread.

Quick version: Matthew attempted to scam someone out of a Dalmatian fursuit that was originally made by DHC a couple of years prior. When Matthew failed to obtain the suit, he personally contacted DHC and essentially asked them to plagiarize the previous Dalmatian for a new suit. Not only did DHC actually accept Matthew's money and make the suit (with very minor modifications so it's not an exact replica), but if you look at DHC's online Flickr gallery (page 4 as of this writing), the photos of the new Dalmatian suit are the only ones out of the hundreds they've uploaded that do NOT have a DHC watermark on the photos.

Here are some of the images taken directly from their gallery of the original suit (left) and Matthew's suit (right). The only real differences between the two are different eyes and some blue on Matthew's head, which is the absolute bare minimum for a distinct character. And no, I didn't crop out the watermark on the second picture, as there wasn't one to start with.

Some relevant posts in the Matthew thread I made a couple years ago:

Part 2: Scammers

This could easily be extended to multiple parts, so I'm just covering a few for now. I'll gladly take suggestions to add though!

Victoria Dumond/ FurFancy Costumes/ victoria10717_/ NessiNoodles/ NessieNoodles/ nessi_noodles/ Vixxens/ _vicxens_/ vixens_fox/ vixxens_fox/ vixxens_/ wolvescanlove/ hunny_bunny_tea/ knotybunny/ poko_pop1/ Bockbock123

When your company has THAT many names, you know shits gone down. At this point in time, she has a no refunds policy on all her work.

furfancy1.jpg furfancy2.jpg

The bewares against Victoria go back all the way to 2015, as she's a maker who does sometimes produce a fursuit of good quality, but much prefers to ghost her clients. She's been known to try and guilt trip clients as well, as she's a single mother (she was never married to the father of the kid, they broke up after she was called out for taking on 25 commissions and then sucking up the money like a dry sponge and she had to start an onlyfans to make the money back to repay her debts).
This beware (archive) from early 2017 was from someone who ordered a set of paws in 2016, and almost a year later wanted money back and was told there was no money to do so.
In this one (archive), a buyer was removed from her trello without warning, as she apparently meant to refund them, while having moved repeatedly and bought herself a large 3D printer, among other things.
In 2019 (archive), someone paid her $2000 for a fursuit that she never started work on and was unable to refund once they got suspicious she was scamming them.
Another (archive) from 2019, where someone commissioned a 3D fursuit head base from her. They had to file a dispute for the $300 paid to even get a reply after a certain point, which the buyer thankfully got back.
The Skadi the Malamute (archive) suit was given a NO rating on fursuit reviews, as the head was lopsided, had poor craftsmanship around the eyes and in the mouth, and took far longer than promised.
But that's only the tip of this iceberg.
You see, there's a google doc with a lot of interesting details. It talks about the horses and exotic pets she was "rescuing", some of which died as she failed to look after them, the time her toddler gave her dog antifreeze, and harboring a fugitive in her home. It also has a list of all the people she's screwed over. 30 cases, with a total value of over $60,000 owed. There's more than this too, these are just the people they could contact for the document.

Becky Ortiz/ Liquid Sunshine Designs/ LSD/ Fluvv costumes/ Elbie from the Block

A fursuit maker (archive) so bad, another started to remake her suits for free for any clients that wanted help.
LSD5.jpg LSD6.jpg

Becky has been using a base copied from another maker for a lot of her work, has had rabbit feces wind up inside the stuffing she uses for her suits, is known for using cheap materials and sews like a kindergardener. Worse yet, she likes to put sharp, jagged metal (cut in half daisy lids for mason jars) into her suits to "hold the mouth open", which could cause serious injury. The Fluvvbusters instagram details this all better than I can, but I can still give the TL;DR version.
LSD6.jpg LSD3.jpg
When a client cancelled due to issues with the design that Becky refused to fix (the random thick white line on the nose), she "altered" the suit to sell it as a different character... then changed it back. The other? Almost the same, except she finished it, shipped to a wrong address, then got it back to resell.
LSD2.jpg LSD7.jpg
Somehow, her suits got into The Masked Singer UK. Suits she was still selling. Being sweated in for TV performances. I wonder if she fixed the bad stitching on them (when the elephant finally sold, it has huge tears in it).
LSD1.jpg
Not only are these fursuit shoes cheap looking as hell (the tape lettering), they also look very similar to those made by other makers. In face, her paw patterns were taken from another maker who allows free use with credit, and Becky claims them to be her own design.
LSD4.jpg LSD5.jpg
In an act of kindness, the maker Untamed Fur has actually remade heads for a few of Becky's clients, and I believe also runs the Fluvvbusters account. It's at least a happy ending for those who were scammed by a painfully amateur maker and decided to reach out for help.
Even her own friends aren't safe, as this review makes clear. An overview of all her reviewed works are here (archive) too.

Sugar and Spice Fursuits

This maker may possibly be defunct, as they have wiped their FA, but an old Tumblr (archive) is still around. As a result, I can only find old pics of their suits.
ss2.jpg SS1.jpg
It says a lot when you look into a maker and only find bewares.
Back in 2013 (archive), someone paid for and sent a duct tape dummy for sizing for a suit. As of 2018, it had still not been started.
In 2015 (archive), a client commissioned a suit. It was supposedly done by 2016. In 2017, it still needed eyes. They do get the head, but not the feet they wanted as well. When they finally got them, they were the wrong color, but at least that part was refunded as it came in 2018, way later than promised (and the makers were ghosting the client).
This client from 2016 (archive) actually got parts of the suits they ordered, but they had issues upon arrival and parts were "lost in the mail".
In 2019 (archive), a client who had gotten a very low quality suit from Lemonbrat (i'll cover them later on), tried to get a new bodysuit made by Sugar and Spice as they had a sale going on. The suit was finished but the maker made a million reasons to delay things, and only shipped it (claiming she was kicked out of her studio during COVID) because of a very public beware, as wel as giving a partial refund.
I remember seeing that they started up a custom roller skate company during the pandemic but I have no clue what became of it, as I don't know the name.
I have archived what i can, Fursuit reviews tends to archive to an unbeatable captcha.

I don't see the point honestly, furries already have their own dedicated section of the site so this would fit more as a post there than its own standalone thing.

And beyond that these kinds of posts reek of "closet furry" because they don't really do anything but shine a light on shitty people that would be outed and documented anyways -by- furries so it just looks like a whole bunch of closet furries trying to keep each other from getting ripped off if you think about it.

I was thinking of it as a thread for animal control anyways, but figured I'd start it here.

Most of these makers were outed and people ended up deleting the call-outs due to pressure. They should be documented since these people would scam anyone (or harm animals and children) and they tend to have enough power to silence anyone who dares speak out.

I'm not a closet furry, I'm more of a quiet side-lines furry who keeps out of trouble and also keeps heat on gross people. It actually is a hobby for me, unlike the people I'm posting about.

Part 3: suspicious makers
Sometimes, fursuit makers start so bad they seem a scam, but get better. Others start strong and then fail hard.

Navy Workshop/Ugolek Fursuit Studio/ Xenon Labs/Cyan Pteradactyl/Xenon Scorpcat
A maker from Russia, there's little sign of activity on their Twitter, they apparently have over 120 in queue and have been known to cause issues for clients who complain about long waits.
navy1.jpeg navy0.jpg navy2.jpg navy3.jpg
You can see that clients haven't been happy on fursuit reviews (archive). The suits, despite looking very good, have some serious flaws due to poor-quality 3D printed aspects (which shouldn't be a concern for breaking). Plus, the maker tends to leave people hanging and may have abandoned her remaining clients entirely. This Reddit thread (archive) actually talks about it fairly well, and shows a pattern of issues. It's possible the hostilities between Ukraine and Russia play a role here, that or the maker was simply too buried in commissions to get out, but it seems they started out decent enough.

Fur the Win studios
A Canadian fursuit studio (archive) who's been around a long time, and is ALWAYS open for commissions. This means that people tend to wait forever for what they pay for.
fur1.jpg

The reviews (archived as a captcha) have it: mostly NO. The biggest issues are the insane wait times, and the legs/feet being very heavy due to how they do their padding. An example: Kyu the cat (archive). It seems some commissions end up slipping through the cracks as well, and people lose money.

Pyrope Costumes
A Mexican maker who started out very poorly, but actually got better over time (archive).
pyrope.jpeg pyrope2.jpeg
This maker has gone past deadlines, had sloppy workmanship, changed colors on suits after agreeing on the materials to use, and harassed clients early on. However, it seems they're growing up, and turning into a maker with some decent quality work. Time will tell though.

Lemonbrat Studios
A maker (archive) who even sells their wares at anime conventions, they have a distinct style that's... an acquired taste. It's gotten better over time at least.
lemon.jpg lemon2.jpg lemon3.jpg
It seems they've had a few small hiccups over time, which isn't strange, but when they have messed up it's been pretty spectacular; this seems to be from them having many makers working for their studio. One, a puma suit (archive), was fixed by them but had some major flaws. Another, a wolf (archive) was actually "remade" by Sugar and Spice later on. It looks horrible, with mismatching fur lengths for no reason, and they were hard to get in contact with back then. It's an old suit, but I wonder how many people like having their suits look so... weird facially even now.

It doesn't bother me that furries go around ripping each other off. The pedo furries should be tossed directly into an active volcano.

I get that. It's just weird to me how many scammers are treated like good people because of a cute art style. Pedos and zoos get the same treatment.

Added a pair of literal murderers to the main post as they fit the theme there. If anyone remembers seeing the Lockjaw arts fallout happen (especially anything relating to the dog they killed and skinned) or who has access to any older posts on it, feel free to share!

So a fursuit maker's husband has several Nazi tattoos, including the name of the most evil person in history, Oskar Dirlewanger. This (time stamped) video from Spartan761 gives an idea of what Dirlwanger did.

The maker immediately privated, RIP.

How about a personal cow of mine, who sadly got smart and deleted a lot of shit, only to start the cycle again?
Happimonsuta/December Suits
For some history: this maker, who's suits have always looked rough, at one point did a fullsuit commission. The person who got it posted a fairly substantial review of the suit on furbuy, selling it as it barely fit. They also had to do a ton of repairs. If i remember correctly, the complaints included gobs of hot glue around the eyes and massive paws that barely stayed on. They also complained about huge delays and ended up getting a partial refund because of an extensive wait.
The maker responded, screaming it was a scam, and reporting the suit stolen to remove the listing. I remember them stating how they never claimed to be a high quality maker in their whiny, now deleted, reply, despite them claiming this prior; all of this is deleted aside an image of the suit (taken from the furbuy listing after the owner fixed it and tried to sell it...)
1000011237.webp
Well, anyways, Happimonsuta has been hard at work making new suits and improving their wares, right?
1000011236.webp
1000011235.webp
1000011209.webp
Nope, still making suits that look sloppy and weird. They claim to be too disabled to have a real job, and think they can make a living making these (at least cheap) suits.
I know they had a pile of suits lined up as commissions a year or so back, so seeing these posts (now deleted) gave me a chuckle:
1000011204.webp 1000011205.webp 1000011206.webp 1000011207.webp
Too disabled to work and apparently unable to do the jobs they're already being paid to do, they plan on just quitting entirely. They've threatened to quit making fursuits a few times now so we'll see how long until they start up again...
Some bonus whining. I've never seen a review for them aside the old one they had deleted.
1000011234.webp
Also, apparently they pioneered leg and foot zippers? Which is a new one for me and i don't see why you'd need either (other than removing stuffing for cleaning).

A fun update: Jesse Frosst, who is now Midnight Makers, was called out again, this time on Bluesky.
1000012511.jpg
Apparently she's also making a suit of her alt character, which was a puphood only before. So that's classy.
Replies include someone pointing out she's ripping off Magpie Bones, a fairly well known maker, to the point of popping up in google searches for that name.
