I neither agree or disagree with opinions there, but an artist self destructing like that is always funny to watch. I would have completely missed that shitstorm if not for this thread.

The only one self destructing pretty much is the vocal minority, who are showing how immature they are. You've got a vocal minority screaming how wrong it is to support the police. Majority of America is in favor of police. If someone's being obnoxious, one has every right to block them. Follower count hasn't even dropped significantly. Mainly it was from those who followed during the follow-for-a-chance-at-free-art raffle lol.

These are people that desperately want to be right in every way possible. The far left and the far right, the actual far ends and not the idiots cosplaying as the far ends, see themselves as infallible much like the clergy when they knew Earth was the center of the universe and are willing to do anything to stop others from proving them wrong. But the biggest problem is that the right, the conservatives, bitch slapped the far side of their parties and told them to calm the fuck down. The liberals are scared to do that to the far end of the left. And you see that struggle in the furry fandom. You see people not wanting to or having a very hard time saying "stop that shit" to the emotionally arrested people in the fandom. Even the BDSM community has told their children to grow up and not talk about shit outside the fandom.

But the far left of the furry fandom desperately want Orange Man Bad to be marching orders and for no one to question them. But people are. People are asking why and that is pissing them off. A trans person is killed and suddenly that is the worst thing ever, even Nazi Germany wasnt as bad as America is now because a trans person was killed and they were killed because they were trans. But no one gives any evidence besides the fact they are trans and dead. And god help you if you disagree with them and want to actually know why it happened.

Also this is clearly just funds for going to Denfur because what kind of connections does he exactly need to make in Colorado that he couldnt in, say, a con in Tennessee? Wouldnt be surprised if he turned NB just to get sympathy dollas on this either.

I can't fathom why anyone would self diagnose themselves with BPD for attention, it's one of the most stigmatized mental illness in the psychiatric and social fields, it's also one of the most horrific and dangerous to have. The main symptom is a lack of ability to regulate their emotions, so like hell anyone with BPD would purposely choose to be suicidal for attention. I wouldn't wish BPD on my worst enemy so stupid shits like this make me autistically angry.

I’m always confused a bit when people talk about cultural appropriation. I don’t think they ever understand it. Engaging in a culture that isn’t your own isn’t appropriation. If anything it’s showing respect for it because you’re willing to see what it’s like. Actual cultural appropriation would be akin to wearing Native American ceremonial headdresses at Bonaroo or Taking similar spiritual or ceremonial items and using them for casual fucking around. What these people actually encourage is xenophobia.

I don’t think I’ve seen people talk about such bullshit since the days of tumblr teens. This person is a relic and needs to be uncovered and put in a museum.
