That was exactly my point in posting the response. When you look at Furry TikToks, Twitter, Bluesky, or Youtube accounts this is the kind of nonsense you'll see, just substitute Spiderman for any sparkle dog or cat Fursuiter. Furries tend to get very loud and boisterous when their coverup attempts are discovered and publicly revealed. Furries crave attention any which way they can get it.

It would appear that WPAFW has doubled down on their decision to make HearthFox the guest of honor. They didn't post any recent updates on either their Twitter or Bluesky accounts for the last two weeks (despite the event happening this weekend), but they did post this in their official Telegram channel:

They don't mention Hearth by name, but the link goes to their featured artist page on the WPAFW website that still features Hearth front and center.

I assume they're only posting there because they got tired of random weens flooding their Twitter to complain about Hearth (which I guess makes sense since roughly 95% of the angry replies were from people who never showed up to WPAFW anyway).
