As to be expected, the pronouns-in-bio crowd is chimping out over it.
If they don't like it nobody is forcing them to attend. Anyway they should be more concerned with getting AIDS from their reprehensible lifestyles.

The comments I screencapped only scratches the surface of how butthurt and indignant they are about this decision. You can scroll down for quite a ways on the original Tweet and find that they more or less say the same things: "muh immunocompromised attendees" and "I'm just going to take my degenerate business elsewhere; good day to you, sir!"

Both of those points seem rather moot considering FWA's attendance numbers don't seem drastically different from last year when they were enforcing vax policies.

That immunocompromised argument is such bullshit, too. If you're immunocompromised you don't go to conventions, period. Ditto for any kind of large gathering of people like concerts, with or without health screening at the door. Someone choking on a laugh and coughing in close proximity to you could get you to catch something. So either man up, take whatever immune system boosters you were prescribed, and risk it; or quit your bitching and stay home. Coof vaccines won't do jack to keep you from developing pneumonia because you touched a doorknob and forgot to sanitize your hand afterwards.

36 year old fursuiter @KanaMauMau was spotted at FWA today, partaking in normal furry convention behavior.

Attendees have been advised to wear a hardhat and watch for falling debris.

I’m terrified of heights so this bothers me quite a bit, but what’s the worst thing that could happen?
I see no negative outcome here.

Also at FWA, some dealers in the dealers den have wound up with fake motion-picture money:

Judging by the comments, someone was dropping fake $20, $50 and $100 bills on the floor, and people were finding them and spending them at the booths.

I’ve seen those before at parties, and if they were dumb enough to just flat out take the hundred without so much as giving it a second glance to see the writing on the back, that’s pretty goddamn stupid.

they think that if they let the cops know they are an autist, the cops will go easy on them and they will be able to get away with anything because progressives seem think that having any sort of mental issue is a get out of jail free card for having a violent public meltdown
I mean, it worked for Chris until it suddenly didn't.

"CHECK YOUR BILLS before accepting them!"
Why were they not already doing that with high-denomination bills? I mean I know most of them are probably NEETs who've never had a job and so never worked in a money handling role in retail before, but surely there must be a bit of common sense?

That and those "fake bill detection" pens are dirt cheap now, and it's a no-brainer to have a stack of them lined up to give every single bill (of any denomination) a quick swipe before concluding a transaction.

An expensive lesson to learn, but I suppose they need to be taught somehow.

They live a sheltered life away from all niggers for whom faking high-denomination bills is like their racial pasttime, even eclipsing basketball.

It's like they all conveniently forgot that George Floyd tried to pass a fake $20. If they start checking bills they'll probably be accused of racism. But even Floyd tier negroids don't usually try pass movie prop money, because the majority of people in the world aren't naive enough not to notice where they printed "this is literally fake money" on it. Furries are collectively naive enough to fall for it and woke enough not to dare look for it.

I don't care how you're doing the transaction. Retail job, dealer's room, private sale. You check $100 bills. No fucking exception. Even to at the very least see if you see the ghost Benjamin in the corner. If they had checked it versus just chucking it in the till, they would've caught it immediately. Dunno how many people got scammed at FWA over the weekend, but goddamn that really says something that they took something that obviously fake.

Half of them are deranged male troons who think they're female animals. They don't fact check anything. That makes them easy marks for scams that not even an average downie would fall for.

Imagine the mess had he fallen from the balcony.
Didn't that actually happen at that hotel one time? I can't remember if it was a suicide or an accident, but I swear I'd heard of it happening.

Do you think the fursuit would help contain the mess? I'd imagine it would.

It'd ironically be like "the most beautiful suicide" where the furry appears to be sleeping peacefully until you try and move it, at which point it falls apart into a bloody mess.
