Las Vegas Fur Con has added a new fun mechanic. (Archive) You can unlock "hidden badges"! Note: they aren't hidden at all because they just announced them here, but whatever. You can get a badge for:

Spending $15 on food at restaurants in the block. Okay, fair, most people will do this at a convention.

Spending $10 on drinks in the block. You don't drink alcohol? Fuck you. I guess technically you could do $10 in like, Pepsi or some shit, but you get the intent here. Then again, it is Vegas, so... kind of expected. $10 is like half a drink in Vegas.

OF COURSE, there's the vaccine badge. You can show proof of your flu shot, monkeypox shot, and yeah, as expected, if you still have proof of your COVID-19 shot(s) from 2021 you also get a badge. lmao. Oh and this one has special benefits, like entering a raffle for free attendance and room for next year!

Now this should be interesting!
But the fact their doing a competition on furry conventions rooms cleaniness is not a good sign
More cons in general should have this.
Lots of cons have this already: Anime Midwest, ACEN, and CAD, just to name a few. I've been to smaller niche cons that also have this system. I don't know how well it works but it's been normalized for at least a decade, some even give you a XL trash bag to put all your weekend trash in. Side note, I don't believe they actually pick a winner. They just hope this encourages niggers not to trash their rooms. They never announce a "winner" of the clean room contests and I've never known someone who got comped for having a clean room.

Maybe they should have a badge for a clean HIV test result.

Then that awful Fursuit maker Magnus Diridian made a replica Lemonade Coyote Fursuit and wore it to Conventions to mock the guy after he was dead.
I remember there also being a weird photoshop of a pink lemonade Dutch angle dragon around the same time as this. Brings me back seeing these posts.
I've seen comic cons having messy rooms however furry rooms I never seen them so could you explain them to me and your experiencs.
Imagine the same thing as an anime con or comicon, but with sweaty, shed-happy fursuits. I've hears stories of people just throwing all their dirty clothes on the floor every night, like it's their own bedroom.

LVFC had incentives in 2025 for proof of vaccination and in 2024 they still required masking in "vendor spaces" which included areas like the escape rooms as well as proof of COVID vaccination to receive a badge. I think the incentives are the same for 2026 as 2025.

Chise was also their 2025 guest of honor and held a panel on her "contributions" to COVID vaccine research. I don't know why, after six years they still have such a hard on for this but I doubt it's going away anytime soon.

I'm not trust fund baby enough to know how much audio equipment you need to make music audible in a hotel room but for some reason I think this might be too much. For some reason burger furries are incapable of having a room party without having their ears blown out by some cunt's 180dB Soundcloud EDM

Why do you need to go to a dealer den at a con in fursuit. Never understood this. You're not going around shopping while in a bulky bodysuit so please explain what you are doing in there other than blocking aisles in the most obnoxiously spatially unaware manner possible
