Don't quote me on this, but I think that artist actually got in hot water with Don Bluth himself. I remember some time ago people saying they were reporting Land Before Time smut to him directly. Or maybe I'm dreaming it all up.

Photomorphs have always been in the realm of uncanny valley, and most people generally agree that they're in that category. There's something about the photomanipulation of anything that does that. People usually use these as examples of how anthropomorphic animals wouldn't be able to look anything but ugly or creepy irl, but there are examples of them drawn realistically rather nicely. I'm gonna say the fact that doing major alterations via photoshop is to blame for that, honestly.
