That's not what that says, so I'll try to simplify it for you:
This.

Can you people not read? Its a choice they made.

Its not about the content, its about the state being a pain in the ass when it comes to data collection.

edit: apparently, porn law. But whatever its the same principle. Its easier to block the region rather than to comply.

TBH, I don't really hate dragontim that much, I just wish he did labeled his game as NSFW, but unless I'm wrong, he couldn't because he's from china, a place with very funny laws regard porn games.
Trust me man I know how furries are and they think their fap material is SFW no matter how in your face and weird it is. Tribal Hunter and Kitty Potty Panic (might be misremembering the name) are also not marked as NSFW, but they're both fetish porn games.

This is like the furry convention debacle in Florida last year.

I'm going to push back on Tribal Hunter. I actually think it's kind of like an inversion of Klonoa's wind ring. Now I'm not saying that Klonoa was a fetish work far from it. I think a child could play Tribal Hunter and not catch on so to say. Still I wouldn't let my kids play it. Mostly because there are obviously better games like Stardew.

Saw something about this on Twitter, couldn’t think of where to post it, so, here:

North Carolina blocked e621, the hardcore furry porn website.

:story::story:
This is the law that caused E621 to block North Carolina. (unable to archive)

See § 66-501 for the relevant stuff:
Age verification required. – Any commercial entity that knowingly and intentionally publishes or distributes material harmful to minors on the internet from a website that contains a substantial portion of such material shall, through use of (i) a commercially available database that is regularly used by businesses or governmental entities for the purpose of age and identity verification, or (ii) another commercially reasonable method of age and identity verification, verify the age of the individuals attempting to access the material.

This law seems a bit vague IMO (not an expert in legalese though), so I can understand why they're cutting off access to NC users for now.

Even though there's a provision that forbids websites from retaining user identification data after verification, this kinda stuff still has me spooked. That said, you can get around this with a simple VPN so if you don't know how to still access these sites you're either a kid or a grade A retard.

The point of this is probably to avoid treading uncharted waters, waiting to see how other websites comply with these upcoming regulations rather than risk being made an example. The other possibility is this is intended to spur now blocked North Carolina users to contact their lawmakers and beg for them to reverse the law.

While furries exposing minors to pornography is a real problem that needs real solutions, toying with the rights and freedoms of all adults isn't the way to achieve it.

It's the intention that matters. Nobody is saying Tom & Jerry is an inflation fetish show because every fourth episode a hose gets plugged into the cat. I'm pretty sure fetishes are developped faster from hyperfixating on them, so a game that's whole premise is literally get fat, turn into a balloon etc, I got to worry if it's going to fuck up some kid playing it. It's the same deal with Changed and why ppl are talking about it now, else who would care right. Nobody cares about lycanthropy and beast boy from teen titans, but clearly there's something wrong with that game.

Hell that's not the worst thing coming from games like these alright. Those people are often active on "furry websites" where the degeneracy is cranked up a whole bunch more, this entire thread makes a fucking citation for this point and since those guys are on furry sites then kids will sign up to them and get exposed to more grotesque fetishes like scatophilia. Also ironic how kiwifarms is RTA, but furaffinity is not.

I give alot of shit to SJW troglodytes, but the biggest positive they gave to humanity was to intoxicate the social environment so much it made the furfags double guess and self-moderate since before (~2014, the cringe era with Leafy etc) they simply gave no fucks and would sometimes brag about their early porn introduction fetish. Hell even cringe compilations back then didn't really do anything.

Like you got moral warriors harassing furries who don't moderate their furfaggotry, so if a porn twitter account doesn't have that 🔞 emoji next to it and tell kids to fuck off they can get shitty comments. Too bad it's mostly centralised on twitter, would like to see something like this happen to deviantart tartlets.

North Carolina is on the early stages of a law to try and stop minors from seeing porn online (because asking for parents to keep track of their kids is too hard) and e621 has massively jumped the gun probably because of the insane sort of rhetoric coming from trannies and progressives over "fascist GOP want to literally genocide gays" made them unable to look at things in a calm and collected manner.

It's a nothingburger.
Go figure. A law involving minors and porn is introduced and the furry website freaks the fuck out about it.

News flash: this isn't the win you think it is. One furfag website blocking a state is not equivalent to the entire fucked up furry community suddenly looking over their shoulders.

The real sickos are still in high positions of power in their garbage landscape, still grooming kids on discord, still dm-ing children in roblox, etc.

And no, cringe compilations aren't gonna do shit because many of them get off on humiliation, or they're trannies, which means they get off on being humiliated as "women".

This. Other states have gone through with 'porn bans' requiring ID to verify age. Pornhub outright blocks states like Utah, Virginia, Mississippi, and now North Carolina. It is already a terrible precedent and other states going through with similar legislation on the basis of 'the children' is weak and retarded

North Carolina has not blocked anything. e621 is the one taking action and blocking users from North Carolina.
Thank you, lolbertardians falling for this and acting like age verification for hardcore porn is the end of freedom have no clue what they're talking about. You can't just expect parents to "do their job" when three years ago giving your kid internet access became pretty much mandatory and even YouTube will put clipped and cropped porn into people's feeds, where anybody can find the source material in less than 30 seconds. A large chunk of these websites get their traffic from teenagers, and now that the government is clamping down on it sites are trying to blackmail their userbase via denial of service so you think that not exposing minors to dragon vore rape is literally 1984 (and they can continue to profit off exposing kids to porn).

The parents need to watch their kids thing isn't really an effective solution when trusted platforms are compromised. Discord, which is used for a lot of online gaming that kids engage in, has a large pedophile/furry contingency not counting the trans grooming. YouTube had Elza Spiderman porn. Writing.com(An innocuous name to parents) has smutty interactive stories. I mean sure you can take off e6 and fur affinity, but that doesn't fix access to DA or PIXIV or kiss cartoon.

I'm not sure if the pervasive acceleration of sexual corruption in society can be fixed at this point, but at the very least it's keeping an increasingly isolated and antisocial populous occupied with pornography instead of causing civil unrest.

Discord's a problem in general, furries aren't the only ones grooming children, there are trannies and pedophiles doing it aswell.

I can't wait for the law to get involved there aswell.

The government can block and put all restrictions they want, but if there's one thing being in middle and high school taught me, its that horny teens will find a way. Unfortunately.

Okay but just how much do we actually know about DragonSnow? In this FA submission he mentions that he doesn't actually have any programming skills and then he says that rpgmaker doesn't need them.

It doesn't. The base functions of RPGMaker will do 95% of the work for you if you're only goal is to crank out a game. Knowing how to program and/or leaning the programs tricks will allow you to do vastly more complicated things, though. Changed isn't doing anything mechanically interesting. It's literally just using the first 10 or so things you'll learn in a how to use guide, it just does those 10 things really well.
