Okay but just how much do we actually know about DragonSnow? In this FA submission he mentions that he doesn't actually have any programming skills and then he says that rpgmaker doesn't need them.

Things like these only makes me have more questions about him.

(This is actually made by him btw, he's been making all sorts of shitposts lately and also porn, usually fetish related stuff)

Is it just me or do furries have a problem drawing other things besides anthropomorphic animals? Like I get that's their gimmick, but c'mon, you're an artist.
That's most artists. Drawing different things outside of your niche is safer.

But, in all seriousness, it's just hard. Say you're an artist. You normally draw mecha, but you want to branch out, because there's a bigger audience for drawing humans. So, you draw a human...and it's bad. No matter what, your faces look bad.

What do you do?

Do fanart of the strogg from quake and the mechanicus from warhammer.

And also knights and paladins 'cuz why not? they have cool armors and all of the mentioned examples have something metallic on them.

Practice. Do studies on your weaker subjects. Look for different inspiration.

to answer your question as an artist, I scribble a lot in my notebook. It has helped me improved on a lot of things. perspective, humans, cars, magic, etc. Not for all, but if you want to improve on stuff, exercise your creativity.

You're right, but it's hard, and sometimes there's just no drive to if you're doing well enough. As gross as furry artists are, the joke about making bank drawing furry porn exists for a reason.

Why try to get better when you're already supported.
If they treat it like a job, they need to work on expanding their skillset. If they do it as a craft, then they only stop improving when they are dead. So dunno, I don't like complacency. This may not be rational, but this is my take.

North Carolina is on the early stages of a law to try and stop minors from seeing porn online (because asking for parents to keep track of their kids is too hard) and e621 has massively jumped the gun probably because of the insane sort of rhetoric coming from trannies and progressives over "fascist GOP want to literally genocide gays" made them unable to look at things in a calm and collected manner.

It's a nothingburger.
