I just wanna play Fallout: New Vegas and Max Payne 3!

The client or your games? Uninstalling and reinstalling Steam should fix the client if logging out and back in didn't help.

are you using a firewall? try turning it off and restarting steam.

If that doesn't work, try deleting the clientregistry.blob in your steam folder.

Open a Steam account because I want to buy a game.

Put funds on it.

Forget my VPN is on. Put funds on Steam.

Within 30 seconds (literally) Steam has seized my account for "fraudulent activity".

Can't get a response from support.

Go to bed. Wake up - my money "has been refunded" and I will receive it "in the next several business days" which means I will never see it.

Can't shop on Steam. By the time this fucking debacle is sorted, the sale will be over and I won't get what I want.
