I know most of you might hate fred and im not trying to virtue signal but as much shitty things as fred has done. He has permanently made the world a better place by bringing the community together and making a well so people in poor countries have access to clean water that's more than im sure anyone hating on him has done so lets just remember fred isn't the piece of shit everyone wants you to think he is.

Let us also remember that it wasn't his own money. It was money that was raised by other people. (viewers and fans) just because he raised AWARENESS and had a monument built in a country that says "You owe this water to the SOK" doesn't excuse the horrible things that was done in this country. Nice try though.
 
Yes, we've already discussed the charity shield. I think Fred and co. have already spent enough time jacking themselves off about it, they don't need anymore help.

Fred did not start that water charity. Furthermore and conversely, the fucker poisoned the purpose of the charity in order to provide the Sons of Kojima cover against any future criticism against their actions.

I'm sure a lot of people on this forum have done more to help people- be it only perhaps over the lifelong course of being a decent human being - than a singular fundraising incident directly inspired by attempting to outshine the King of Gout who, incidentally, holds the lowest philanthropy index of anyone pulling in 100K/yr known to history.

Oh please, you think Fred gave a single fuck about anyone from Ethiopia? Fred didn't see a water pump he saw his own vanity, he wanted a big shiny plaque saying how much better he was then other people. He wanted something that he could swing at DSP or his fans or people that criticised him. He weaponised that charity from the get go. I put money into that charity too but that didn't stop him from abusing it when I said stuff he didn't like; hell knowing all of the shit now makes me feel dirty knowing I helped this mans ego project, if I could I'd pull every dollar I put into that water charity & either give it to another good cause or donate it separately.
 
I actually had no idea about the charity and Fred's ulterior motive behind it. It's one thing to creep on/control people and act like a badass online, but he seriously used a charity to bat away any slights against him and make himself look like an angel in the eyes of others.

That shit makes my blood boil with how devious and scummy it is.

This is true. making a charity or donating to it for that matter does not make you inherently a better person.
 
When I first heard about the water charity thing I thought, "oh wow, SoK is actually a pretty good group of dudes!"

Then I saw Fred using it as a shield and realised what everyone else did, that the shitbag used it as a thing to point to when people got on him. "Look, I did this so I must be god's gift to the internet and not bad at all!"

Inexcusable. I'm glad the people are able to get water now, but using it as a chess piece is just despicable.
