I know. The site is really hard to navigate and the search feature sucks. I signed up for an account to see if that changes anything and they have to approve you.....

Hopefully we stumble upon a post in a "local ground" forum but so far I've only found underground forum posts. I guess because he's so hardcore.

So it seems like some of you have been staring into the abyss a bit too long lately ahah

I want to remind you guys that we are just here to laugh and call people out on bullshit, doxing the guy is taking shit just as serious as he is. To the mods thinking this would make someone a hero, I disagree, it would prove that person is no better than Fred. I know you want to keep the traffic up but that's not the way to do it. You just give people a reason to laugh at the thread turning the people involved into hypocrites. I mean it would be karma and he deserves it but that doesn't mean someone should do it, we've already destroyed his whole life.

To the people trying to dox, slow the fuck down and think for a minute what exactly doxing Fred will do? Laugh at how fat he is? Is it really smart to post that you are doing it on a thread that we crucified him and his fellow members over?

I'm not gonna bullshit you guys these last pages have been pure cringe with how far you guys are going with it, I had no idea what the process was to dox someone and it's not a pretty one ahah. Just chill guys there is plenty to laugh at.

Fred has valuable personal information of several people. Finding him will ensure that his potential to anonymously use such information in a harmful way are neutralized.
It's nasty but that threat cannot stay out there indefinitely unchecked.

Nope, Fred started this bull shit by collecting peoples private info and posing a legitimate threat to people. There is a reason that this is being taken so seriously as doxing in any other circumstance is not tolerated. This is obviously very different.

Fred, or whoever he is, brought this on himself.
 
Pretty much yeah, doxxing Fred would turn you into Fred. Especially if you descend into Fred Fuchs territory of REALLY reaching for information. I think it also solidifies a lot of the focus being on Fred and not on the other SoK guys who think a half assed apology is enough to be set off free. And a bunch of them trying to make SoK 2.0 it seems despite their denial.

Doxxing Fred does not prevent him from disclosing any information he has on others anonymously. He could just as easily disclose that information under another persona, even if we have a real name associated with the Fred Fuchs persona.

Lol. I never take anything seriously nor am I looking to be a "hero" of the internet. Just a guy who has way too much time on his hands and mildly curious on what this Fred Fuchs actually looks like.

You... You guys do know what site you're on, right? I'm pretty sure the only time doxing is discouraged here is when the person is underaged. One of the mods can correct me if I'm wrong. Uuuh, I'll pick on @Karen Riley since she's the only one I can remember off the top of my head.

Being able to certify we know who he is and where he is will dramatically decrease the likelihood for Fred to use any valuable information he possesses. It's akin to doing something you don't want your neighbors to know about with the curtains open vs fully closed.
Believe me, I understand the ethical quandary this strays into and we are sacrificing political capital and some moral highground, but as a way of protecting everybody who has their information at his will, this is the best option remaining.
