Most of the leaks that have already come out are things I was involved in directly. Shit talking the TCP and such though I was never on board with kicking Moogle like Fred was. Moogle is way too nice of a guy and I didn't like or enjoy the idea the idea of being on the side of that. I could have gone to Moogle long ago and told him as well as showed him everything but I didn't since I didn't want to lose Fred's trust. Also when Che wasn't the one talking to Fred in the early morning it was me. I tended to stay in the call until everyone else left. I felt that once it got down to me and Fred that it'd be rude to just run off at that point. So I'd sit there and talk to Fred. Listen to him rant. Give him advice. One of the things that really bugged me was that Fred didn't treat people as friends and didn't really care about peoples feelings. I called him out on this and he said it was because he had to detach himself on purpose so that all the pressure coming from all the people that hated him didn't afect him. Well you can't have a group of friends that way imo.

One interesting story and one Che may not have been around for or forgot is that Fred believes we live in a computer simulation. He was reading an article about how in photos there is pixelization and going by that believes that super computers are so powerful that we're actually living in the matrix and shit. We just don't know it.
 
Lel the guys streaming in Mogs stream right now ripping shit into Fred when days ago they were defending him. Half of those guys are doing the same thing as Fred in the leaked screenshots. Now they skirt outta there trying to take the heat off of them. It makes them even more shifty IMO how much they've thrown Fred to the wolves in an attempt to get the target away from them. None of these guys said shit until around yesterday when SoK rep really took a dive.

EDIT: and nah I dont believe the "Oh I learned about Alice and that was enough for me" excuse, because half of them knew about the Alice shit already. It's clear they're just trying to save their rep.

I agree with that. We were all at fault and none of us should be trying to act like we're on the moral high ground. None of us are innocent nor should we be acting like everything is Fred's fault. We went along with it too. Even me.

It's like they're not realising that they were the minions Fred sent off. They can rip into Fred all they want and imitate him (which they're doing now) but half of them also said and acted the exact same way and "leaving SoK" doesn't suddenly make them morally better when they were completely fine with how Fred acted and knew how he really acted until the SoK rep got a nose dive.

I've noticed that there has been this "heroes that took down Fred" mentality after it happened, but I just want to remind people that this isn't a story of heroes and villains. A lot of us were no better than Fred when we were part of that group. We all have dirty laundry, and even though I never saved recordings or skype chat logs my hands aren't clean either. There are no heroes in this at the end of the day just karma biting Fred in the ass showing that no matter how much of the truth you want to hide it will always come out. No one is immune to that. In fact it's funny because people thought I was lying about a lot of the things that showed up in the leaks. Now it turns out I was telling the truthall along. Just goes to show how blind people were when you were really deep into the SoK shit.
 
I dont hold harmless any member of SoK for what was done in the past. From the doxing to the paranoid behaviour to "ops" to take down competition for Fred. However who was running the show is what makes me more willing to forgive those who were a part of these campaigns. When someone is a charismatic leader who leads with intimidation and fear, if someone was afraid of being doxed or having ops run on them if they stepped out of line, then that's not a willing action. That's a coerced action to me. That's why I'm cautiously forgiving those who were a part of SoK and are now coming forward.
I was foolish enough to post that I forgave Fred. I didnt want to believe either that he was as much of a dirtbag that he has been proven to be. As more information came available, my willingness to forgive disappeared.
I'm still cautious of those who have apologized who were recent members of SoK. If it was someone who was involved 2 years ago, then I'm more willing to say "hey, you were a dickhole before but your actions have proven that you've got little motivation to shield yourself now" But Fred's apology and later Fizz's read the same way. Almost as if Fred was still calling the shots on Fizz. The "hey I was a jerk before, but I'm learning and will be a better person" story. The scorched earth that's been going on with everything that was the SoK by Fred seems absolutely bizarre. The endures had nothing to do with what he was doing that was dickish.

And I can see that point of view as well. My concern is that I feel like we shouldn't elevate people too much so that we don't inadvertantly create a new clique. Also while Fred has lost the keys to the kingdom I believe no one should have them. SoK is dead. The best we should do now is fix things between each other and move on to better things. I know it's going to sound cheesy and stupid but I believe we should cast the power Fred had in the Anti DSP Community and such into the fires of Mordor before anyone has a chance to claim it and become Fred 2.0 But that's just my opinion. In the end let's just remember that if others hadn't been smart enough to back everything up, when for the most part we were giving it all to Fred o use against one another, Fred would still be in charge and the SoK would be running business as usual. The fact that we had to be underhanded to take down someone equally underhanded is a sin in itself.

Back on topic though something that Loophole never knew, or if he did I don't really think he cared is that when Loophole came back to the SoK Fred didn't welcome him back out of friendship or anything. No in fact he used Loophole as a trophy against Ren. Because he felt that taking away Ren's "right hand man" gave him bragging rights and shit.
 
If anyone is familiar with the Stanford University Prison Experiment or Milgrams Study on authority figures, it'd be almost no surprise how easy it is to fall into line when so many others are expected to toe the line. As another member said, the members are fully aware they fucked up huge. They came out with heartfelt and seemingly genuine apologies to each other and others that were affected. If it's so "unbelievable" how Fred and Fizz is getting the hammer on this one you really should try being in a cult like environment yourself sometime. Empathy goes a long way in civilization.
 
I'm just honestly surprised at Fizz. I never expeced him to be the one person who wasn't genuinely sorry. As for Fred I've seen him craft fake apologies like that many times. I wasn't fooled at all. Fred's also good at breaking into fake tears when he wants. Sometimes he even did it on the podcast to make people think he was really touched. Pretty good acting on his part.
 
Watching the SoK jack each other off on twitter ia disgusting. Fred had absolutely no control nor leverage over any of them, yet somehow they're all victims in his crusade. Everyone of thrm was complicit in his abuse and any one of them should've bowed out a long time ago. Ive been following some of these guys for months yet today is the day they all spontaneously start talking about movies and vidya publicly? What a croc. Mark my words, what happened once will happen again. It always does.
