DSP is just a very and i mean very stupid lolcow people love to make fun of, myself included. There's some antics and fun to this shit, his persona and fails, it's just amusing to watch. Good to see you here, Divas. I was making DSP videos myself and i remember your feedback, long time ago. Point was to make fun of the lolcow, but Fred turned it into something else, the bad shit. The sad shit. The pathetic shit. And now when we all look at him....yeah. What a trash. Does anyone else feel like some of the SoK members are taking advantage of the fact that Fred has a massive target on his back right now, to take some of the heat off of them? I feel like a bunch of them are taking advantage of the fact that Fred is priority target number 1 to save their skins when the other members did a lot of shit too. They all seem to be leaving in spades now because "What Fred did was unacceptable" but they had plenty of time in the past few days though and like half of them were also a part of the leaks, it wasn't just Fred alone. The most recent one is Radrad but he was defending Fred a while ago and yeah that may be before he knew the full situation but its shown that a bunch of members who claimed they "didn't know" about all the shit were part of it too. So I dunno, I feel like I can't trust any of them and they're taking advantage of the focus being on Fred to get out of there and dodge a bullet, when a bunch of them were equally taking part in the shit, or knew about the shit and didn't do anything. Like a bunch of them are getting pats on the back in tweets about how they "did the right thing" and step down when they had years to "do the right thing."

I don't think they should be let off that easily.

lol. Here's a protip for everyone who ever happens to find themselves running a community: don't keep secrets. Secrets kept between two people don't exist; it's a false sense of security and a delayed release. The KF mod board is very, very boring and is just about running the site. We've never had any mod board leaks first and foremost because there's nothing of value in there. I never lose sleep over people betraying me because there's literally nothing I'm hiding. even the admins could delete the entire forum only to have it restored the next day. If your SoK empire is anything more than friends talking about games and drama you're doing it wrong. If the KF ever becomes more than people having fun on the Internet I'm doing it wrong.

On that note I hope I did a decent enough job prodding people into talking about Internet drama. That's usually what I try to do in calls. Just keep people talking about things people would want to hear about.

From my experience, my analysis of Fred remains the same. Dude's very competitive, and one time when Phil put out the tell all Machnima vlog, he tried to ensure we set up shop as fast as possible to be the earliest possible take. I'm thinking to myself "why?". We're not in competition here. But no, he basically mentions people are gonna click on the first reaction they see, and we won't get all the views. Like we absolutely can't let the likes of Tevin offer up this crucial vlog analysis before we do. He must not be allowed to make a dime off this Phil-based news story!

Also, while I'm at it, there's the matter of monetization. Since this was such a big hot button issue (even during the ardnas affair), the way I see it is that they're making small amounts of pocket change off Phil. It's more than likely way less than Phil himself leeches via Paypal tips and Twitch cheers in a single stream. Such an asinine thought process that making money off the man invalidates the legitimacy of your platform. What you guys discovered and brought to light this past week invalidated the SOK's platform way harder. So here I am.

I did agree with the platform of offering a deeper introspective into the life of Phil. I don't agree with towing the line, and forcing your organization to bend to these pre-conceived whims. Still, my time was fun while it lasted.

I get what you are saying. It does seem like a lot of "Fred did this" but everyone else was at the very least around while he did these things and at worst participated right along with Fred. I'm gonna be that guy and say I just don't believe it. I just think Radrad and the others left the SoK so they don't get more shit hurled at them and not for some moral stand or 'disgust' for Fred or anything. I mean Cerulean specific mentions Radrad backing Fred up in those discord chat dramas. It's like Che said "It still goes on today and if they deny knowing anything about it they're still lying."

Not saying the members knew everything. Blatantly there were weird ass tiers and skype groups for those tiers with each getting more knowledge like the mafia or scientology or some shit, but I just don't buy the members leaving SoK having any other reason but "I don't want shit thrown at me either."

When I realized that the conduct presented was indefensible. I wanted to hope the SOK could recover from this, and keep soldiering on, but then most of the core members denounced the SOK, and there's no use trying to maintain a sinking ship.

Out of nowhere Fred Fuchs appears in freedom chat and starts defending SOK. This was odd because Fred was never in freedom chat nor anyone from the SOK. After the leaks and learning how paranoid he is he must have been monitoring freedom chat at all times or something.
