I have mixed feelings about this new 'impeach fred' movement. On one hand yeah it seems he did some shady stuff and he has a long history of starting shit with others like kingofdivas. On the other hand unlike some here I did really enjoy some of his podcasts. He's clearly the driving force behind the SoK and the SoK are/were a core for lack of a better word part of the detractor community. Even the people that didn't like them used stuff they uncovered. I don't really think anybody at least in the main group has the force of will to hold the sok or a similar organized group of detractors together like him. They looked into Phil's shit deeper than anybody and without them it might just go to isolated detractors here or there providing superficial commentary. I also think its kind of a little silly to quibble about the precise wording of an apology or treat this like some impeachment for a Presidential cabinet member . For good or bad Fred leaving would definitely have an effect on the dynamics inside and outside the SoK.

But yeah I'm too lazy to read through all the leaks at this moment let alone to decide how they should be taken in the proper context. Maybe he is an irredeemable psycho I dunno. Maybe the sok is toast I dunno. I just hope we still get the same quality of those hilarious indepth debunking and analysis of phil's stupidity from someone.

Do they really need another fucking group? Surely they have learnt their lesson in creating anti DSP autism groups, some of these people clearly have issues but another group would be the same disaster. I applaud Renegade and Che pursuing something other than DSP.

Phil can be mocked without political groups. SoK are just reactors that mooch off of TIHYDP. The problem with groups within this community is someone gets very autistic and this happens.

Well, KWO is still around and they have experienced a resurgence. I can see them taking center if the SOK disbands.
Personally, I'm getting the feeling another group (possibly made out of ex SOK members) will arise, and it will be SOK 2.0

Wow, just catching up but this is some of the most embarrassing high school drama bullshit I've witnessed of late. I guess it's true what they say, autism begets more autism. The only real downside here is that Phil will surely get a few good snorts out of this clusterfuckery "Told you so, ACK ACK ACK"

Can you imagine a video of Fred and DSP talking everything out? That would be really weird after everything that has happened between them.

Back on topic-

Groups centered around dogging on someone never end up well. Kiwi Farms does very well because we have a lot of cows to look and laugh at and a lot of the times it's not as hateful or weird as the SoK. That's what mods and admin's are for, to keep things civil and in check. That's why a place like this does so well is that there are rules and it's really not about one single person.

The SoK and other groups like them are centered around one person and it gets old after a while. The BS with the SoK though reached People's Republic of China level of spying, gas lighting, back stabbing and censorship.

That's where the decorum against a-logging here on Kiwi Farms keeps people to have a proper perspective towards cows. They aren't meant to be hated or raged at...people like DarksydePhil are supposed to be laughed at.
I don't know him, but RADRAD's Twitlonger is filled to the brim with a-logging. He's still in that SoK mentality of having anger and indignation towards DSP.
I'd invite RADRAD to join us here on the forums and learn to have fun with the lolcow experience again.

That's because, as the popular wisdom says, hell hath no fury like a DSP fan scorned. Fred and the others really wanted Project 7 to happen, and because Phil dared to pull the plug on that fucking thing, now their hearts burn with the fires of hate and rage.

Most of the other people are just baffled about how someone as incompetent and lazy as DSP hasn't killed himself already, so we watch him slowly but surely spiral into misery, depression, and fast-food induced illness.

I can't believe that was it. Project 7 is a topic that comes up a lot, especially whenever patreon or something like ever got mentioned about DSP in early SoK tweets, videos and so on.

That is a really stupid reason for forming a group just to mess with someone. Project 7 wasn't even that good. They really couldn't just let it go and apply their talents else where? It was a good learning experience in the world of business, sometimes you get burned, or in this case Burnelled ;)

Eh, his twitlonger said a whole lot of nothing. Other people have described him as a very nice dude though, and i could see that being true.
 
All I have to say is holy shit. This blew up way bigger and faster then I thought it would. Thank you to all those who supplied leaks and information it has led to many laughs. Drgnkiller covering this and calling Fred out has been interesting and something I did not see coming. Gotta say even though I never watched much of his stuff Tevin's response to Fred's shitty apology sums it up the best.

The idea that Fred or the SoK started because of Phil abandoning Project 7 is absolutely not true, they were around long before that happened. I'm not sure why that became rhetoric. That said, I pretty distinctly recall Fred admitting at one point that he was never a DSP fan at all, and came into the community mainly out of curiosity--i remember that specifically because it seemed weird, that a guy who was leading this group in spewing vitriol was never a former fan. All of the people I know who came into DSP just to view the trainwreck seem to (ironically) enjoy his cahntent without any real hatred. However, I ain't sitting through hours of podcasts just to find that moment, so take it with a grain of salt.

Correct. He's probably being confused with EvilAj, who made the first TIHYDP because he was a DSP fan who was disillusioned with how badly he played MGS2 and his shitty attitude about the game and Kojima. Which means Fred's autistic devotion to being anti DSP is entirely because of the popularity it gives him.
 
Quite sad to see fred do what he did. I actually am going re correct my original post as i saw someone already put up the prank that the man child did to puk.

I think someone should just go up to him and call him out for a debate one on one but really be with all the evidence that was gathered here
