This sounds like it came straight from the internet personality playbook. I swear I've seen the exact same type of claims dozens of times. I'm just wondering, is it due to paranoia or is it for his ego? I'm sure hes a mexican that lives in Illinois at least.

I honestly think people who believe Fred is some kind of clever mastermind who covers his tracks are overestimating the guy - the guy's smart enough not to put himself out there like most lolcows covered on the farms but he's definitely the sort of person who lies his ass off to seem cooler than what he actually is to his buddies (we are talking about a guy who took a group dedicated to fooling around with DSP super-seriously)

But he never said it was as a male nurse just that he had worked at one and that he was aware of how emergency rooms worked. Funny that he didn't mention any of his nursing experience in front of Schad? Who you know actually is a nurse.

Oh yeah, I remember that. The thing is, he did actually say a few things that would indicate more than a passing knowledge of nursing and/or ER procedures, though it was the sort of thing that one could pick up if you were relatively observant while in the hospital yourself (or visiting someone) OR had a relative who worked as a nurse. (For example, I know that what he was saying was correct because I work in health insurance plus have a relative who is a nurse.)

You know what I think? I think Fred is your typical bullshitter who uses the "a little extra knowledge and a lot of confidence" trick to pretend he is things that he is not.

Yeah I'm 99% that it was the emergency room one because the two of them were ripping into Phil and don't quote me on this I think he said he never worked with patients and that he was more on the technical end of things if someone wants to search that podcast for the actual clip be my guest.

This reminds me of something. During the breakup episode when SoK attacked Phil for saying that the breakup was a good thing, Fred made a point of saying that he ISN'T a petty person like Phil. At the time I remember hearing that & thinking to myself, anyone who out of the blue makes it a point to tell you they're not a petty person most certainly IS a petty person. Boy did that turn out to be true.

So, let me get this straight. His father, who does not speak English well, flipped enough houses to make a business out of it. In Michigan, a state with less than 3% of the population speaks Spanish. Not to mention the demographic that speaks Spanish are lower income. Not only that - but he was able to send his son to a school in which tuition for out of state students is over $46k, buy a Yukon Denali which is upwards of 55-60k, and help his son buy a condo for 120-150k. All the while, Fred was getting honors in one of the most prestigious colleges in Illinois. Did I mention he also spent hundreds upon hundreds of hours stalking a man on the internet & playing a shit ton of video games while getting "honors" at one of the most prestigious colleges in Illinois?

"house flipping" is different from commercial realty. A successful house flipper is the most frugal type of person you will ever meet, and I've known a few. It rakes in good money, but the majority need secondary income to sustain their income. It's more of a side job. If his father is successful enough at that in a state that has barely any Spanish speakers, he wouldn't be too keen on wasting money for high end cars and a condominium that is well beyond the standard price in Illinois.

The typical path for his major would not have him sustain these things for long. I'm not knocking poli-sci, but it doesn't make much money until later if you are good enough. The dream for a poli-sci major, besides freshmen wanting to become youtube famous, would be to intern on an established politicians campaign. The vast majority of those positions are unpaid and you do them during your tenure at college. After that, if your lucky you could become a staffer, or maybe work at an embassy or something similar. Still would not enough to sustain his alleged cost of living.

So a grown man who spends hundreds of hours stalking, gaming, and obsessing over an internet group graduated (with honors) from one of the best schools, drives only the best cars, and lives in only the best condos. Does he only wear the best clothes and listen to the best music as well?

Like I said @Golden Boy. I take any of this with a grain of salt. We have no idea if any of this is true and I suspect some of it isn't. I just collected everything that was stated by Fuchs or known about Fuchs so it's all in one place.

I can neither find myself in the explaination of James, that a name would prevent him (Fred) from doing it again. Why do we need to prevent this? Fred's reputation is broken and if he would try something again on the internet it would only ensure more entertainment.

i think i agree. my view is that anyone who cares this much about fred right now cared too much about "his" SoK to begin with. he's obviously an idiot, a creep, a self-obsessed loony toon---whatever, but i would like to think that people realize that his legacy---unlike DSPs---died with the destruction of SoK, and it should stay like that. if he stays quiet, it shows that he has a brain. if not then, well, this thread is here to greet him if he ever shows his face again. until then though i suggest we all consider this horse dead.

Im against doxing in general unless it's for verification purposes or to make fun of someone's antics.

I just want to see what this guy looks like, also I just love the search. I'm sure he's watching this thread and hopefully sweating a bit over it.

Interesting. Again he did talk about using a VPN most of the time, so that could be the case. It is very strange how some are Holland, some are Detroit, and some are in Ohio. Still those cities aren't that far apart from each other.
