So the Lewis cancer has fully metastastesised then. I see some race grifting "consultants" made money on it and thur the point of all this "diversity" pushing is once again confirmed. I wonder how many do nothing jobs they are going to create to be able to meet their recruitment quota while not screwing over the company. If I was Toto I would be eyeing the door and working out how much to sell my stake in the company for. In before the idiots this is made to appease complaint 25 isn't enough.

To begin this new Accelerate 25 programme, we aim to continuously raise our standards of entry and until 2025, we aim for at least 25% of all new starters at our team to come from under-represented groups.

This is mutually exclusive and if these "under-represented groups" were good enough, they'd already be in that team ffs.

In during idiots this was made to appease to don't actually watch F1 in the first place and never will.

"Slurp slurp, Russell was good but I want that Hamilton dick slurp". Look Toto, none of us believed it wasn't just the car plus a compliant teammate before Russell basically proved it is the case.

Also that wave is looking a little like the people who's staff cars were made by Merc there Lewis.

No no, Toto has a point there. We need a race where Russel fills in for Bottas, so he can run circles around Hamilton, too.

Mate you're based in Northamptonshire, unless you pay for people to move here it ain't happening. 91.5% of the county population come from white ethnic backgrounds. Even worse people who aren't up to snuff do wash out, either based on ability or personality.

On a lighter note the Merc will run a special livery at the last race featuring the name of all the workers. https://archive.md/iWgSb

Since I'm in a less than happy mood with Merc right now, will this include all the contractors who got laid off this early this year due to Covid-19?

Implying they wouldn't nobble Russell in some way.
"George, it's James..."

Well, be that as it may, DAS is not going to be allowed in 2021, so I was wondering how much that would affect Mercedes. I don't think it's the achilles heel of their car that'll bring them down to the level of all other cars, but it might at least have some influence on their performance and allow some other companies to move closer.
Wonder how Ferrari are going to handle next season. They want to built a new, competetive engine, but I doubt they'll deliver something worthwhile tbh. Aero is also not going to help them, I feel.

It's a damn shame that there's two likeable drivers at Ferrari, otherwise I'd love to watch that team fail after their repeated fuckery with their former drivers.

Well, that's at least a nice idea, now let's hope they don't run with their shitty Virtue Signalling paintjob for more than this season.

They'll be inscribed on the underside of the car.

IIRC Toto said that the paint job will remain for at least 2021.

Mercedes to keep black livery in 2021

Nov.3 - Mercedes will keep its all-black livery in 2021, boss Toto Wolff has revealed.
Amid Lewis Hamilton's advocacy for the Black Lives Matter movement, the reigning world champion team agreed to switch from silver to black for 2020.
"It seems that yes, we will also be in black in 2021," Wolff told the Austrian magazine Motorprofis after Mercedes wrapped up its record seventh consecutive constructors' world championship at Imola.
"I think the black looks great," he added.

"In 2022 there will be many new rules and we want to remember our heritage again with the Silver Arrows. But the issue of anti-racism will remain very important to us."
Meanwhile, amid uncertainty about his and Hamilton's futures at Mercedes, Wolff also used the occasion to insist that the German carmaker is staying put in F1.
"We made our commitment to Formula 1 with the Concorde Agreement, even if you can now get out annually," said the Austrian. "But that's not an issue.
"How did Ola Kallenius say it? 'Bayern Munich is not getting out of football either'," Wolff insisted.
"For various target groups, it is right to get involved in tennis, golf or fashion week - but motorsport, that's what we do. That's our DNA," Wolff added.

Hamilton confirmed for Abu Dhabi after testing negative.

No way in hell Lewis was going to let Russell have another weekend after the massive shit he took on both Hamilton and Bottas last time out.

Those who said Hamilton is in it for 2021 only, to make sure he stands alone in the records because the Mercs are basically guaranteed dominance by the COVID-adjusted rules, then bows out when there's a risk Merc is no longer the undisputed best machinery after the rule changes; I'm convinced you are right. I'm also convinced he'll never, EVER suffer a seat next to Russell after witnessing the asskicking he laid on Bottas after a few days in the car.

My god... that sound.
I hope whatever rulechanges may come in the future, they will go back to an engine with a similar sound at some point in the future. If that ever happens, I doubt anyone is ever going to fondly remember the current sound remarking "Ah yes, the sound of the cars in the late 2012s. Now THAT was an engine sound should be like!"

They really should start to reconsider this whole hybrid era engine spec. All it's really done for the teams is make things more expensive. Personally I don't mind the 1.6 liter turbo as much as more others do but I think the real problem is the absolutely ridiculous amount of extra regs done to effectively make the hybrid stuff mandatory while giving no room for weird off-the-wall engines.

So, Hamilton and Bottas have somewhat slow times during free practice and commentators suck each other off about how this might prove that the other teams will be stronger on this track and how this maybe indicates that Mercedes will have to struggle this race to keep up with the field...
Holy fucking shit. How many times do we have to witness this song and dance over and over again before these clowns see the pattern? Or is this them trying to pretend there is still any question of how this race will pan out?
Hamilton will just casually mop the floor with anyone during Qualifying and in the race proceed to lap everyone up to 5th rank while using one hand to tweet BLM stuff and the other to wank himself raw as he flies down the racetrack, every lap 1 second faster than anybody else.

Edit:
Helmut Marko's comment indirectly shits on Hamilton and Bottas and I love it.

This is a great photo to compare the diff between the V10 Renault and the 2020 version:

Cars back then were so tiny, I would have never guessed. I'd love to see both these cars racing for a few laps, would be interesting to see how they compete with one another.

Now if you say you watch Top Fuel Drag Racing too, then yeah, you definitely all-in when it comes to motorsports dude! LOL
I don't watch the American drag racing, I tend to watch the Australian stuff with a bit of delay simply because they get published to YT by some channel which has a name I have forgotten. As I said, proper sad bugger me.

I find it somewhat ironic that they would choose rename the pit straight at Silverstone 'The Hamilton Straight', given the persistent rumours regrading the incumbent World Champion's sexuality. It almost feels like a cruel in-joke at his expense.

He should really come out. Or would that be a step too far for those nations and sponsors whose dubious human rights records he seems prepared to ignore, despite his recent social justice chest-beating?
