Pure Aston Martin cope, but, if it were true, it would be hilarious if nobody told Lance Stroll and his normal driving/attitude just sells the lie on its own.

Well that certainly worked as the Aston are dead last in the practice sessions. Meanwhile Mclaren seems to be doing better here, they were able to keep up with the Mercs in both sessions relegating the Ferrari's to 5 and 6 with a gap of almost 1 second

Can we just abandon this nonsense and tell the teams to get the 2025 cars back out until they can get their shit together on a proper rule set? There's no polishing the turds from this rule set.

How long have the 2026 cars been in development? IANAL but I imagine if the FIA suddenly said, "Whoops, the regs are wrong. Throw everything out and go back to last year's cars," the damages sought by teams would be astronomical. Even with FIA money.

good point. starting next year all f1 cars will have mandatory emergency autobraking and overtake/lane assist systems, if that doesnt prove sufficient then the low drag aero mode will be replaced with auto-activated adaptive cruise control in 2028

As funny as that as, I wouldn't put it past the regs to do that. I don't see Max staying in F1 if this bullshit continues considering he complained about the active aero and downforce when he absolutely dominated.

oh you think im joking? i would bet audi is already appealing to the fia to make this happen. as evidenced by the absolute state of these dogshit regs theyre just trying to turn f1 into a race of their shitty road cars

I think the regs should only care about safety, cost caps, and a very basic formula so we can let engineers go hog wild. We really can't tell cars apart from livery these days as F1 cars used to have a silhouette to tell one team apart from another along with the noise their engines made.

i already missed china and the next day the f1 mailist already told me that fagonelli won so i didnt bother. that made me delete my suscription to f1 media altogether lol. there is no way i see this shit at 2 am.
 
https://fullraces.com/2026 Works well for when the races are at an inconvenient time. Assume this will go just like China. Ferrari and Mercedes competing for 1-4, Max at 5-6 after starting 10th or lower, 4-6 cars DNS/DNF. Aston Martin continuing to do 15 laps in the spine destroyer 9000.
