It amazing how "it's only a test, times don't really mean anything" disappeared once LH set the fastest laps, now it's lewlew WDC guaranteed cultLH hopium everywhere.

The RB21 had similar unconventional mounting position for the rear suspension

Main question will be if drivers (particularly one that was in since day 0) are up to task.

Though I don't disagree, Fernando earning his #3 and retiring after 25 years would be the absolute kino

BTW - I see lots of opinions that Ferrari is an absolute fucking shitbox and at best a midfield runner. How true is this?

I guess it is based on the early impressions of the car as several people thought the Ferrari looks rather basic. The good thing about the car so far is that it is very reliable (or at least seems that way). Now comes the more burning question: how much potential is in the car? I read that several anlysists think russell is the favorite for this years title as the Merc was always at the top in each training session. And of course don't forget the "engine trick" which can't be easily copied by the rest of the manufacturers. Imho it seems as if Ferrari is at least part of the front runners for now but if that is actually true will be seen in Melbourne. Because even the real tests in Bahrain will not show the true order (well except with Cadilac and Audi at the bottom. In this I am 100% sure). Just imagine the LH cult implosion when their star doesn't achieve a podium this year

Which makes me want another Lando win, if it keeps George out of the running (not going to lie, I feel like Lando takes way too much flack on personality where there are drivers I've side-eyed a whole lot harder than Lando).

They're both faggots. Hell, I'd rather see the second coming of Hambone than Lando

As much as I want my boy Pastry to win, he'll never get a chance for as long as Fat Zak keeps fellating Lando... which is why I'm all in on Max this year.

Ferrari have always, ALWAYS done a glory run in testing to make headlines about having the fastest car. It's funny to see the DTS audience completely ignore this fact.

To be fair, at that point he deserves it. We still hear about fangio and it's been 70 fucking years.
 
The team would immediately improve if Button was the driver and Stroll was the ambassador. It wouldn't be very diplomatic of him to say it though.
