I dont feel bad for Horner. But it is crazy hes like 1 of the most successful team principals ever to do it and hes just gonna be remembered from some horned up texts he sent when its all said and done. The amount of "bout time" bullshit is crazy. Not saying it isnt a good idea to dump him im all for it. But there's people acting like this is 5 years too late. It should have been sooner. Why was he there so long. He only won 8 fucking wdcs 6 constructors and 120 fucking plus races in his 20 year tenure. You really can't do shit. You send some horny texts and max verstappen starts crying and next thing you everyone forgets that it was just you and one other dude(toto) winning for the last 20 years. F1 is crazy. I get he needs to go or something needs to change its just people pretending like this last year and a half is his entire career with redbull is so fucking confusing. They won everything toto and merc didnt. Idk how you pretend that didnt happen.
Horner was a great team principal. I couldn’t care less about what type of sexting he was doing, dude helped his team produce incredible results until he wasn’t. I could see him being picked up by Cadillac.
I know this is all Helmut trying to get Max to stay. I would personally be thrilled if Max went to Mercedes despite it all just to further shake things up. Max is already wealthy beyond his wildest imagination. I’m sure he’d love a few more seasons in a decent car before dominating the WEC.

Hell I could see Max even going for a season in Indycar or at least doing the 500 given it's still a highly prestigious race and apart of the Triple Crown.

Rbr’s downfall was when Dietrich died. The internal fighting made the team fall apart after loosing the guidance and rule of Dietrich. Horner/redbull/Helmut have been going at it for years and we see the singular focus of everything for Motorsport winning lost.
I can totally see after they loose max the team will be sold.
They might not lose Max. This may be the catalyst that gives him more control of the team, which in turn might end the streak of him killing off his teamates. They can focus on unfucking the car instead of blaming their 2nd seat every time. I hope Max does leave for Mercedes because that's about the only way I will ever get Alonso/Russell at Aston Martin.
Given the well-publicised beef between Horner and Jos Verstappen, along with overall impression of Jos being second only to Lawrence Stroll as far as F1 helicopter parents go, maybe Max won't be leaving RBR so soon after all.

Because Jos is a massive dickhead and like how a tiny dog needs to bark and growl incessantly to remind you of it's existance, so too must Jos make a fucking nuisance of himself.
If horner donated a million euro to a hospital, Jos would whine about the choice of hospital. He has the face and mouth of someone who wasn't punched enough.
I wouldn't be surprised if the father-son relationship between Jos and Max is akin to that of Joe and Michael Jackson.
Jos was a very mid F1 driver. Not awful, but compared to his contemporaries (Schumacher, Hill, Hakkinen etc) he was dead ordinary. Even Blind Freddy can see Jos is living vicariously through Max.
In about 18 months time Horner is going to look back and praise the lord that he was sacked. Massive pay off, not having to deal with how far off the pace the Red Bull / Ford engine is next year and having to deal with Jos the toss.
A Brazillian podcast had Nelson Piquet Jr (ex F1 driver and more importantly Max's Girlfriend's brother), they were discussing Mercedes' strage up and down performance this season.
I absolutely agree as Ferrari almost never has a problem of a bad car, terrible drivers, funding, engineer deficits, but has the most incompetent pit management of any serious contender on the grid, a grid that has a French team on it no less.
