Oh nooo I'm so sad that Lewis is beached and most likely can't continue.
EDIT: Can anyone with a better ear/setup determine what was the crowd chanting when Lewis was leaving the car? I swear they were chanting something.

Hambone out by Lap 3, THD for all the nogs.

I'm absolutely shocked that Ferrari haven't pulled a Ferrari and they actually got a 1-2.

Can't wait for the whining about the Verstappen-Norris thing, no matter what the decision is going to be. Aaaand they just gave Norris the penalty, dare I go to Reddit to experience the salt?

Mad respect Max is truly a smooth operator. McLaren strategy seems to be on par with Ferrari of years ago they should have let him back.

I think that the whole well the first lap turn one is racing incidents is bullshit when you can divebomb and force an opponent off the line with no intention of making the turn. If Lando stayed on line both would have massive damage so it compromised turn 1.

Again tho respect for Max to pushing to the limit when he needs to!

Just copy paste the Hamilton meta lol ( cf USA 15 )

You guys aren't thinking this through. This is all a 5D chess move for Lewis to become a slow cooker endorser.

What's one GP for one more sponsor?

Really good showings from Colapinto and Lawson, Albon seems to be struggling as soon as he gets a team mate who isn't completely useless. Talking of useless, Perez gets beaten by someone who started from the pits and got a time penalty. Red Bull now in danger of slipping to third in the Constructor's, oh what a shame

The results of this race means if Verstappen finishes every race and sprint in 3rd, then Norris will have to win everything and get 3 fastest laps.

Max3rd.jpg

If Max comes 3rd in every GP and sprint with 1 2nd in a GP then Norris can't win even if he wins everything and takes all the fastest laps. That means the door will shut on mclaren been able to stick Piastri between them to win.

Max2nd.jpg

Of course with ferrari getting fast there's the possibility of them getting in between Max and Norris meaning Norris can win but that assumes Norris can stay ahead of both ferraris in all the remaining races.

Wouldn't be the end of the world. I doubt they're so short of money that it'll genuinely hurt them. It would give them more windtunnel and HPC time than Mclaren and Ferrari though, and given they can start the 2026 car from Jan then they'll have a development advantage over them.

In that sense Checo is the perfect driver for them brings in the money to make up for the lost championship winnings while keeping their constructors position low for development gains.

Rumours emerging that Colapinto could join V Carb next year with Lawson in RB and Checo losing his seat
While I would love this to be real, I'm afraid it's too early for Lawson for RB seat. Even if he has shown absurd pace one year ago and last weekend, he still needs some experience. Colapinto also deserves 2025 seat like no one else on this grid, he already started demolishing Albon, regularly scoring points in a crappy Williams.. Dude has crazy potential, possibly even bigger than Bearman, Doohan or maybe even Piastri
