I'm sure F1 "fans" om social.media are going to be balances about this and read the full context before frothing at the mouth.
And on cue, the nig has already chimed in with some innuendo to stoke the flames:

Red Bull could have won titles with bib – Hamilton

Hamilton said it was unclear how long Red Bull have used the device for, or how significant its impact might have been.

“The name of our sport is all about innovation, Red Bull have been the leaders and they have innovated,” Hamilton told Sky. “Ultimately, all the teams look at the rules and they try and find how to massage those rules and get the most out of it, even if it’s just over the edge a little bit.

“It just needs to continue to evolve and be better policed. But at the end of the day, they just did the better job. God knows how long they’ve had that and they’ve been winning championships – maybe that stops now. I don’t think that’s the one thing that’s going to stop them. But I think everyone else, we’ve got to continue to be innovators and leading rather than trying to catch up.”

When asked about the situation regarding his team’s bib device Max Verstappen said he was “not really worried” and “from my side, nothing changes.”

The stream I am watching someone keeps posting this. They delete it pretty quick but I managed to get a screenshot of it:

"Hey it's the end of the session and people in the drop zone are still setting laps, should we show it or show a replay of a spinning Williams 17 times?"

The red bull is looking pretty handy while the mclaren isn't looking that nailed on. With both Ferrari and Merc going well this could be an important weekend in the championship.

Well Merc spent all morning locking their wheels up, Alpines new livery sucks, and Stakes green is so yummy I could just binge a lil gamba sesh myself.

Whingleton is off whinging. His shit driving is the team's mistake of course. Oh and now sky are off saying how great he is because his fuck up wasn't a huge fuck up.

Ferraris are going for it here. Countdown until radio call or crash.

And if Crofty could stop calling every single overtake a switcheroo that would be great.

Yes of course Ted, Hambone driving around 4 seconds behind the ferraris is a genius strategic move, not the fact he's nowhere on pace.

All the coping about Max's car being about to eat its tyres and it looks like Norris has screwed his.

I know it's only a sprint and only 1 track so far but it looks like the Red Bull and Ferrari upgrades have overcome the mclaren pace advantage.

Nice sprint from Haas, used the solid qualifying to take points with both cars. Probably the best start Lando has had all year, almost lost the positions gained at the end with his tires being dead.

I don't know why sky commentators kept going on about it being an even start at the front though, Russell's start was awful. Max was able to pull infront of him and he was swarmed by 3rd, 4th, and 5th on the grid into the first corner.

Good start by Norris but that red bull seems to have some good upgrades. Horner said before the sprint they worked out what the problem with the car is at Monza and have been working on these to fix the problems since. They seem to have helped here at least.

What also is impressive was the tyre conservation by the Ferrari's despite them duking it out lap after lap. If they can preserve this form we might see a three way battle between Verstappen and the Ferrari's. Mercedes might have celebrated a bit too early after P2 and a supposed near pole

They need to fuck off with this rear facing camera. It shows fuck all of value in qualifying.

Go on nigleton fans, spend the night telling us how he'd be on pole if only he could manage to get out of Q1. Best effort still puts him behind a sauber.

NIGGER!!! Bye bye! LOL

Talking now, says he should probably start from pitlane. And of course says it was car balance. Balance is that bad on his Merc that he can't beat Lawson and Stroll? LOL I thought SuperCoon was the GOAT. Shouldn't he be able to use his superior talent to drag the car to a better position, kinda like Fred does all too often?

Let's see how well he does tomorrow given he will have to pass a whole lot of cars to get in the points.

I do enjoy that we have two guys going for the championship that are always smiles and laughter with eachother when out of the car, including after one has just beaten the other.

Rather than lewis' sore loser ass who would rather hang around with rappers and nog murican sports ball players desperately wanting to be let into the cool kids club.

Russell starting from pit lane. They didn't have enough upgrade parts to replace like for like after the crash.
