Must Be The White Half

Lewis Hamilton is practically John Wick says the guy who taught John Wick every thing he knows about the wickness I guess.

What length won't they go to jerk off this dudes ego?
Interesting he filmed himself with Taran at the range. He got introduced for being filmed using an AR15 like 2 or 3 years ago and had to apologize.

Or is this the same incident?

Well we've seen plenty of drivers entirely fail theor way out of F1 and into formula e so why not manufacturers...

Formula E is also about 8 times cheaper than F1 because the only truly expensive development bit is the powertrain. Spec chassis, road tires, only races in like 10 locations across the world and the local governments pay half the bills because they want to show off how enviromentally conscious they are.

Oh great. Yamaha and Lola. What could possibly go wrong? Yamaha had imho only 1 good season in F1 and that was 1994 when they had help from Judd to soup up their engine and Tyrell build a decdent enough car. Too bad they also had Katayama for a driver. The Japanese Maldonado

There's definitely something up at Mercedes.

How did this team dominate so totally for so long (well not counting the FIA help, locked regulations, and secret tests). They're totally incompetent now it's all about aero performance.

It would be hilarious if all this could be pinned on them placing Hamilton and Russell's input at the forefront of their design. Of course, The Simpsons did it first.

Just like Ferrari and Bridgestone could not handle races without tyre changes in 2005. Or how Renault could not build a strong hybrid power unit. Or perhaps a look way back to the past how some teams could not create a working ground effect car back in the early 80's. Regulation changes can hit all teams differently. Red Bull has the advantage on having the only f1 designer who actually still remembers the original ground effect cars. The others are either dead or too old to come back from retirment.

This isn't the usual struggling with a change of regs though, this is outright "we can't validate our own simulation data", that's a major failure of engineering competence. Validation of simulations is basic shit I would expect most engineers with a couple of years industry experience to have a good understanding of and be able to put systems in place throughout the development of the system to incrementally validate the simulation.

It's almost as if Mercedes had it that easy for that long that they either lost or never developed the competences necessary for basic IV&V engineering.

To be fair, Newey should be retired too. It's just that he enjoys making air his bitch too much.

It also helps tha he's one of the most talented designers in F1 history.

You also do have to remember that a lot of these teams can't simply just copy a working design, they have to come up with own designs or at the very least, procure documentation to ensure that when FIA comes to them and says "Say, did you copy this diffuser design from Newey?" they have enough asscoverage to not get penalized.

Mercedes has used AI in their latest poster for the Japanese GP promoting Lego.

Logan gets the car back to yeet it into a barrier after just 7 laps.

And to miss FP2 after too much damage to repair quick enough.

So Albon will give his car up right? That's how it works? (I am kiddng of course, Albon is the better driver)

Also FP2 was a snoozefest with barely anyone driving. And there might be rain tomorrow and even on race day. Oh boy
