Fucking hell Ferrari, I feel like wanting to scream
Excuse me, I'm going to drown this sorrow with something hard...

Honestly, heads need to roll (metaphorically) at Ferrari. I feel bad for both Leclerc and Sainz.
I'd pay good money to listen to the postrace briefing. Either to hear Charles get absolutely livid at the team, or to hear what kind of bullshit they're feeding the drivers to keep them from tearing the paddock apart with their bare hands.

I genuinely think this is why Binotto left before the race finished. Even for Ferrari this was a complete clown job, and each decision was worse than the last.

Yeah the strategy was strange. the problem was that they had no other option left as they started on the Medium. They either had to switch to Hard at that point for the 2nd stop (unwise as the Hard had proven to be the rubbish tyre) or extend until it's time for softs. And it's really sad as on the Mediums Ferrari had no equal as the great pass of Leclerc against russell had shown. The only bright side for Leclerc: he is by far the best infighter in the F1

It's amazing that Max has been able to pull out an 80 point lead from what was what, a 50 point deficit early in the season?

Both Charles and Carlos need to consider breaking out of their contracts and moving elsewhere. It is blatantly clear at this point that the team has cost them wins and points, by running the engines beyond a safe mode and their catastrophic strategy calls.

As many people have said, Ferrari really needed to extend both their first two stints on the medium, so that they could take the soft tyre at the end.

This season is really showing the importance of team organisation, as Ferrari has been the quicker car for most of the races, but Redbull and Mercedes through better team work, is really embarrassing them.

If Ferrari finish 3rd in the WCC, that will be an utter humiliation.

Only a 30 point difference between Mercedes and Ferrari now.

If you thought track limits were getting stupid in F1 well an F2 driver has managed to get a race bam from penalty points, most of which are for track limits.

I understand a need to police it and its better to have an absolute rule than specify certain corners but it definitely feels its gone a bit far now. Especially with the nonsense Perez deletion and reinstatement qualy lap.

A visual metaphor of what Ferrari is doing to Leclerc and Sainz:

I disagree, heads need to roll literally at Ferrari. It's times like these I wish the mob had investments in Scuderia Ferrari, shit would look a lot better, if the most egregious failures lead to a concrete-shoe fitting and a trip to the local pier.

Ferrari have thrown away uncontestable victories and secure podium-places through nothing but bad strategy calls and rampant incompetence. And I am telling you now:
It's all downhill from here. We'll look back at Ferrari blowing a 100%-in-the-bag victory in Monaco and call them the good times. Ferrari will implode in the rest of the season.

Both Charles and Carlos need to consider breaking out of their contracts and moving elsewhere.
Where would they go to? AM? *yawn*

That was a more exiting race than I anticipated, with the action spread right across the field. It would have been even more exciting if the rain had arrived a few laps earlier, though that may have given Hamilton the win and elevated Crofty to even higher echelons of insufferably. How I despise that man.

Mercedes had a race-winning car today. A couple more performances like that and I can see them clearing Ferrari in both the drivers and the constructors championship. There was a rather nauseating shot of Toto nodding smugly to himself, after Hamilton went past Russell, as if order had been restored to the universe. I can't fault the drivers though.

All footage taken in the Ferrari garages needs to be in sepia, slightly speeded up, soundtracked by silent movie piano, and interrupted by caption cards that say things like: "Egad! Now we are in sixth place!"

The Chaplinesque Binotti should learn how to perform that top-down, finger-pinching head-scratch that Stan Laurel used to do to convey his hopeless bafflement.
