Unless ferrari seriously get thier shit together then yeah it's his.

I'm happy with either winning it, at least with Max all the "muh illegitimate champion" salty hambone fans will be even saltier.

Could have been but leclerc took full responsibility for him making a mistake in the interview.
Yeah, Max winning is something I'm... Fine with. Would prefer a Ferrari driver, of course, but it would be nice for everyone to shut the fuck up about Abu Dhabi since he'll most likely get a pretty uncontroversial win this year.

Not sure what to really say about this race, everyone sort of went wrong, but aside from my own rampant coping, it didn't seem like a whole lot really happened? Max got out in front and stayed there, with Loois remaining so far behind him as to not even be worth mentioning, it feels like the longest period of actual racing was between Checo and George, but it's hard to really say when the direction was so shit that they didn't really focus on anyone below 4th on the field whose name wasn't 'Carlos'

I seriously want to know which demon Toto or Hambone made a pact with to get that kind of luck. It's utter bullshit, honestly. As much as I like my boy Russell getting more points, that's still an undeserved podium

We call them 'The Great Satan' for a reason

Another Mercedes luck into a result race where Sky will do nothing but talk about how amazing they are.

Its really annoying that the announcers suck Mercedes and Hamiltons dick acting like its amazing they did a double podium becausethey have a shitty car. Its very obvious they still have the third best car and aren't retarded like Ferrari.
Frankly, I've given up on that asshole. His "HURR HE NEEDS TO GIVE THE POSITION BACK!" whining was disgraceful.
When you're driving for Merc, are you contractually obligated to be as much of a cunt as humanly possible?

And of course, this fuckface then manages to catch Perez with his pants down after the VSC, dude really fucked up this weekend. Can't catch up with Hamilton, loses out to Russel with 2 or 3 laps to go in a really disgraceful manner.

I used to like Russell but he has adopted Hamiltons personality it seems like always complaining to try and get his way even if he is wrong. They are even worse then Kyle Busch when it comes to complaining.

Every time something has been up to luck in this v6 era for Lewis/Mercedes, they've always gotten the good. Maybe Lewis is on to something with # blessed
He's probably my favourite of the ex-racer commentators who show up somewhat consistently, in all honesty. Equal Machinery memes aside, Nico's better as a talking head than just giving consistent commentary.
In terms of ex drivers, I feel Allan McNish is A tier

Really just a disappointing weekend for me. I was really hope for a strong Haas performance.

The mercs landing two podiums is annoying as shit because somehow the fans and media will make it out like a tremendous win, while ignoring the simple observation that Ferrari imploding kind of makes things a lot simpler.

As much as I like to shit on Hamilton, he drove a solid race. This one was less pig-roach luck than his other results lately.

My thoughts:
- Merc looks solidly 3rd best and borderline competitive now, much to my chagrin. Especially since they pig-roached a bunch of early results when they sucked, keeping them in touching distance. They also look far and away the best at not throwing away results. And of course, they remain the whiniest, most annoying bunch of cunts.
- Verstappen continues to felt Hamilton soyfag fans.
- Perez drove like a clueless rookie and fucked RBR badly this week.
- Leclerc has his soul ripped out again.
- Sainz gets fucked by Ferrari "strategy". It was absolutely unreal they were telling him to box as he was handily passing the driver in front of him. What the fuck, you stupid wop daegos?
- McLaren vs Alpine is looking like a sporty midfield battle. Too bad they weren't able to jump Merc. (:_(

How on gods great earth is it possible for Ferrari strategy to be so fucking bad every single time? For years now the meme persists of the Ferrari engineers having no idea what is going on and always managing to screw their drivers over. Like how hard would it really be to fire a bunch of people and get strategy back on track? Or is it more deeply engrained at Ferrari

Exclusive behind the scenes footage of Ferrari's key strategists coming up with their most recent master 🅱️lan:

All joking aside, it's utterly mind blowing to see how Ferrari manages to shit out a terrible strategy race after race after race. Their car is a glass cannon that blew through engines within half a season, their strategists are clueless and the call-outs to box are comically inept.

A bad call to box ruined Leclerc's chances of winning his home race. Now they blabbered into Sainz ears while he was in a knifefight for P3.
With these Pasta-clowns at the helm, does anyone really wonder why they haven't had a shot at a title since 2007?

The drivers are clearly capable of challenging for championships. But the team simply can't. And Leclerc knows it. And I garuntee its eating at Charles. He knows he should be way ahead (or at least in a tight fight) in the championship right now, but he isn't.

Guess that's it for Lec. 10 races left. 63 point deficit. He needs Max to DNF or somehow plunge to close that OR win every subsequent race assuming Max comes in 2nd.
And he has to do all that while eating penalties for using too many engine spare-parts in the future. Frankly, Merc could get 2nd place in the constructor's championship, since Ferrari has already used up all their spare parts before the summer break. So Ferrari will have to deal with penalties or run their engines on significantly lower settings to preserve them. Hell, It's gonna be both, most likely. They will need to change some components at least once and to draw out as much life from their current engine to drag that forced swap as far into the future as possible as well as making that new engine last all the way to the end, it'll run a lot less aggressive than their current engines.

Perez, Russel and Hamilton might end up a comfortable behind Verstappen, given that Leclerc and Sainz might be out of the competition for the top come last quarter of the season.

They've had multiple shots since 2007 ('08, '10, '12 and '17 spring to mind, '18 was never gonna happen unless Vettel had a perfect first half) and every time they find a way to fuck it up.

From a faulty fuel rig, to getting Alonso's pit strategy at Abu Dhabi catastrophically wrong, to whatever the fuck cost them 2012 (over a bad car), to having Kimi as a lead weight in the second seat that couldn't be a wingman for Vettel (he should have been gone after 2014, not Alonso), the team has made the same, consistently-bad mistakes since 2006, and honestly, they didn't deserve 2007 in retrospect. Max doesn't even have to fight this year anymore; this race leaves Leclerc at a 63 point deficit, and to make it up, he'd have to win (+ fastest lap) for the next 8 consecutive races, practically taking him to the final round. Of course, that's presuming Max finishes 2nd every time and doesn't retire. But things are looking very grim for Ferrari right now.

I can only imagine the kind of vitriol the Tifosi are spewing at Leclerc and Sainz for not having bagged the title already. They are easily as bad as Hamilton fanboys (though for entirely different reasons) and they will claim the car is perfection on wheels and put all blame on the drivers, no matter how much of a shitbox the Ferrari obviously and quite blatantly is.
