Unpopular opinion: Monaco GP is mostly shit, there are only a handful of memorable races/performances. It mostly lives from hype, prestige and celebrity cocksucking.
I wish for a Magnussen Pole, and then he'll "defend" like in the Miami GP. The seethe would go down like fine wine.

I'm not sure that's unpopular. I hate Monaco because the only 'special' thing about it is the glitz and I hate F1's glitz.

I watched the F2 race earlier. No retarded mechanic shots, no cut to showing who the driver is sticking it in, no pointless helicopter shots at a street circuit where you can't see shit. Why the fuck can't the TV director get his shit together for F1?

Leclerc on pole (and convincingly so) and while Mercedes is closer if you look at the gap they are still 5 and 7 with Hamilton AGAIN loosing to Russell. Now the cy<nic in me expects Ferrari to fuck this up tomorrow while the Ferrari fan in me hopes for a Ferrari 1-2. Alternatively I will take Leclerc 1-2 with Charles winning and Oscar in P2

It's not that the F2 production people have their shit together, they just dont have the same budget the F1 production has. Trust that it'd look very much the same if they had the money to do so.

The F1 broadcast also has to appeal to normies. So they need these gay ass shots of lame folk and landscapes that everyone in the office can relate to Monday morning. F2 doesn't need to do that becuase irs just autists for the vrooms watching.

Would be nice for Charles to get a win this weekend. I would be okay with either Oscar or Charles winning. But even at a track like monaco I can't count out verstappen until the checkered flag. I think the car is shit here and ferrari mclaren have caught up no doubt, there maybe even some design woes with the newer concept and newy doom news idk he drove his ass off in Singapore last year despite suffering similar problems. A little bit of luck and keeping it out the wall and I think he's still on for a podium.

If sainz ends up in a williams he's just just go do something else for a minute. Especially if things pan out and Antonielli skips the williams ride and goes straight to Merc. That's just as cucked as vertsappen stealing kyvats seat and kid. I get merc isn't a great option right now and maybe some of the partnerships have changed but it's crazy 2 me the rookie could get that seat whole sainz ends up where the rookie usually goes for merc development.

Makes me feel the merc seat is filled and anotinelli is the guy. No other reason why the williams seat would have sainz name attached to it at least imo.

One the one hand it'd be great to see Charles win at home, on the other the meme home race cucking he's always gets would be amusing to see continue.

Don't forget he's had pole twice before, once he screwed his gearbox so couldn't even start (2021) and the other time Ferrari fucked the strategy right up and screwed him into 4th (2022).
 
The RB20's been quite temperamental lately. Maybe they weren't kidding with that limit of development thing?

It does get the noggin-joggin. IIRC, even with the RB19, it takes Redbull a while to find a good set up, but once they do, it just pulls the fuck away. It just so happens they couldn't find that window in Singapore last year. Could the RB20 be a peakier derivative of the RB19? Faster when it's right, but is a rougher ride when not?

Or is this just as much of an issue with everyone else?
